He ambles up on this particularly erudite acquaintance of his while swirling a cup of - whatever it is he just picked up. He didn’t notice, nor does it particularly matter; it’s already traversing down his throat. Can’t taste a thing, but he imagines it tastes divine.
Harry’s speaking already by the time he swallows.
“–Did you know ‘er?”
“Wh--” The man startles, only just short of jumping out of his own skin before he turns to recognise the other, familiar face settling his wrecked nerves back down again (if only just slightly).
He sighs, shaking his head.
“Think I missed my shot on that.” Connors tries for a wheeze little laugh, but it comes out more of an awkward, choked noise. “I-- No. God, no. I don’t know anyone here. Why would I?”

Dr. Curtis Connors | Your Friendly Neighbourhood Werewolf
A well-esteemed doctor and pioneer in medical science, until he mysteriously went missing. Ten years later, he emerged again halfway across the globe, clearly a changed man.
The moon has very little to do with the whole thing, actually! The wolf emerges as a result of emotional stimulus, possibly tying into the hormonal release of adrenaline... or maybe cortisol? He’s still looking into it. Scientifically, the affliction is amazing. Personally, however--
Not really the type to go on about himself at length, but he’s more than happy to listen whilst offering comments in the form of a diverse selection of bad puns and tacky dad jokes.
Has perfect control over his transformation, he swears.

Yeah, pretty recent. I’ve been out here for business before, but now being out here is my business.
I’m from Southern California originally, but I transferred out here just a few months ago. Around the turn of the whole Accords business.
I work superhero law, and they seem to have both in spades in New York. Heroes and laws.
Far as business goes, there’s worse places to be.
Yeah, the, uh... Accords thing was kind of a mess overall, and something tells me there’s more where that came from. Tends to be like that when half the population of a city is on the Avenger’s roster.
You’ll have your hands full.

[Jane laughs despite herself at his ‘weenies’ comment. It caught her off guard more than anything. Torunn clearly pays no notice.]
Yeah, this little one is definitely the trial and error of parenting for me and Thor. No telling if we’ll have another… I’m quite happy to focus my energies on Torunn for now.
[She smiles at Curt’s fascination with Torunn, who was clearly loving the attention.]
I’d be grateful for that, if I were you. There are so many deities running around now I can hardly keep track of them all. You sure it’s fine? Because everyone needs a little spice now and then. Shouldn’t be too hard to find some if you want to.
[ He laughs. Or... chuckles. There’s a light chuckle. ]
What, am I wrong?
[ The doctor leans back, crossing his legs and sinking further into his seat with a slight quirk of his brow that soon rescinds. He gives young Torunn another glance and a smile before going back to the ongoing conversation at hand, and having a thoughtful pause. ]
From an outside standpoint I’ll admit the whole thing sounds kind of cool, but you’re probably right. Between work and everything else, I don’t think I’d manage half as well as you seem to be doing. And, uh, yeah, it’s fine. Really.
Besides, it’s like I said - I don’t think I’d have the time for it even if I wanted to.
