My School Year

So this year was my Freshman year of high school. along with all the other stressors of Freshman year, came those of being diagnosed & living with UC. this year my school {i go to private school} implemented a zero tolerance ‘you can only miss 11 days per class or you have to take exams no matter what grades you have’. at my school the second semester if you have an A 3rd & 4th nine weeks you get…

When is IBD awareness month?

There’s more then one!

Currently in Australia, May is Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Month: Read article here

In the USA, or New York more specifically I guess, it’s in August: Bam

And in Canada, it’s in November! See hereOf course we have World IBD Day on May 19th: Ta Da!

And in america December 1-7th is IBD Awareness Week: According to the CCFA 

This still blows people’s minds. If I want to make choices that are healthy for me, it’s beige, and probably mostly carbs.

Salad is usually always a bad choice.

I don't want people to be sorry for me. I just want them to understand that I'm not always happy. That I live a hard life sometimes. And struggle more than they can imagine.
