[ okay fuck it plotting call for anyone who wants to play the BW/B2W2 verse
all im asking is for your muse's presence in unova during the events of the games to "make sense" - i dont really have a set timeline for when they happen, but i did imagine they're little more than a decade before plot canon - , and to not really expect for colress to be polite to anyone who isn't a plasma.
like. im ngl i'm gonna jokerify colress so. yea :)
if i get too many, i'll likely write starters for ppl i didn't properly interact with yet or much!! ]

"Oh, you can say it again!"
Uncaring of who is currently giving him a hand (even if the fact that he's actually doing what he requested did fill him with a little bit of pride) or the fact that the Pokèmon was clearly not only in pain, but ready to Leech Seed every single cell out of him, Colress lifts the Lotad, making sure that Grimsley would notice its bright red eyes.
"Full to the brim! I knocked it out and yet woke up in five minutes and tried to bite me! Can you believe it? A Lotad, biting me!"
The scientist chuckles, almost delighted by the situation as he presses down the poor thing, a hand on his leaf, the other holding on the syringe.
There are much better and more gentle ways to unshadow a Pokèmon, but the end justifies the means... and this gives him some free samples to study Shadow Pokèmon!
Everybody wins!
"Science can be amazing, eh?"
Grimsley has half a mind to simply turn on his heel and leave entirely. He's terrible at making decisions when he's split on something, should he truly go and meddle or disappear as though he never saw anything? The gambler isn't in the loop as to what he's seeing, but the sight of this 'Evil Juice' for lack of better term doesn't look to be pleasant at all. Though if he were in the Lotad's position he'd hate the needles too.
Even though his legs move automatically but somewhat hesitantly towards Colress's bag, he pulls a coin from his sleeve. He still hasn't made a decision yet, and this should help remedy that. Heads or tails? Does he continue to go through with this or not? The gold metal is flicked into the air with the audible sound of his nail hitting the coin, and as he effortlessly catches it, he places it flat against his palm to reveal...
...Fuck.
"Another syringe~? That Lotad sure must be... Juiced."
Grimsley. Please.
...At least he's fast in casually handing the doc the extra syringe.

Hey, he's technically doing something good for society, right there!
Granted it would've been better if he did... whatever he's doing in a proper lab, with the proper tools and the proper gloves, surrounded by proper people instead of a washed up former Elite, but... what can you do?
He likes to seize the moment!
This said... he could understand why someone would get a little... upset? Would upset be the right word? ...since the Lotad in his hands is clearly not happy with the current situation.
"Hmh, yes, yes you are in fact!"
Still, Colress keeps his eyes on the Pokèmon, and on the almost full syringe. So much Evil Juice(tm) left in that poor fellow...
"Do me a favor and be useful, will you? There should be another syringe in my bag, over there."
@coeurlxss caught just as he's literally taking the Evil Juice out of a Shadow Pokèmon he found after fighting a handful of Rockets with a syringe, and with the biggest smile ever:
βPrison ainβt too bad, youβve got a bed and they feed you!β a beat "Well. I wouldn't know exactly how bad it is. Did you know the higher ups let me stay in there just for three days? Wild!"
...Well this is a strange sight to walk in on for certain. Grimsley's not entirely sure as to what he's even witnessing, nor why Colress is talking to himself on the topic of prison.
"...Am I interrupting something?"
Well of course he is, but he's going to announce himself and feign innocence regardless. His brow slightly tenses at the sight of... Whatever substance just came out of that rather unfortunate looking PokΓ©mon. He's not one to pry, but he is going to stay as cautious as necessary. ...Or rather until he decides it's time to drop that caution to take yet another one of his many countless gambles.
