High Heels Forever!
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/12/13/high-heels-forever/
High Heels Forever!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I love high heels! So much so that I own over a 100 pairs.
The second piece of woman’s apparel I ever wore were my mother’s high heels (after I slipped on a pair of her nylons). Since that initial crossdressing experience, I almost always wear high heels when I present as a woman. Occasionally I joke that this whole transgender thing is just an excuse to wear high heels.
Without a doubt, wearing high heels is the most difficult thing about presenting as a woman.
Walking gracefully in high heels is an art.
And then there is the pain! Wearing a girdle, waist cincher or clip-on earrings can be painful at times, but you can almost always count on wearing high heels becoming a painful experience sooner or later.
Despite the drawbacks, I’ll give up my Louboutins when you pry them from my cold, dead hands.
Abby of Vivian Lou fame feels the same way and she offers some tips in her blog to make your high heel experience as painless as possible.
Tumblr media
How to stop feet from slipping forward in high heels.
Tumblr media
How to walk up and down stairs in high heels.
Tumblr media
Why not to wear the same pair of high heels every day.
As Abby says, “Here’s to high heels without the hurt!”

How to Walk in Heels: Lessons from the Stiletto Whisperer

How to Walk in Heels: Lessons from the Stiletto Whisperer
Tumblr media
Perhaps this model needs to take a high heel walking class with the Stiletto Whisperer?  High heels can be a quick and easy way to dress up your outfit, but Victor Chu, a former footwear designer in New York dubbed the “stiletto whisperer” claims most women are wearing them incorrectly. “Women think heels are sexy because men think they’re sexy,” he told the New York Post. “But, you see a woman wear this pained expression and shuffle. I’ve seen guys giggle at them – it’s not sexy. Bottom line is, you need to be fit to walk in heels with stability.”
Chu once developed comfortable shoes for Uggs and Reeboks, and teamed up with dancer CeCe Chin in 2006 to create the high-heel fitness routine, Legworks. This summer he created a series of personalized classes in New York for women to perfect their walk in their high heels. We reached out to get the inside scoop and tips on how to properly walk in high heels with minimal pain.
“We tell [students] to bring two pairs of heels to the class: ones you wear everyday and the ones that you want to wear,” Chu told Yahoo! Shine. The private classes start at $50, and Chu tells Shine that 60% of the class is perfecting your walk. “New York City is the capital of high heel shoes and fashion,” Chu told Yahoo! Shine. “Out of anywhere in the country, women wear heels everyday here. It’s easier for guys when they get dressed up because they just put on their dress shoes and start walking. There are essentially built in problems with heels and this is the main reason why we offer the course.” A recent survey released by The College of Podiatry, more than 40% of women say they suffer through the pain of wearing heels for the sake of fashion. Most women report that heels start to hurt their feet after an hour and six minutes of wear, while 20 percent say that they can feel the pain after just 10 minutes. According to researchers at the University of Portsmouth, heels can change the way the entire body moves, including the pelvis, hips, legs, knees, feet and even shoulders, to emphasize femininity. The researchers, whose study appears in the scientific journal Evolution and Human Behaviour, say men rate women wearing heels as more attractive then those wearing flat shoes. Chu feels all types of women young and old could benefit from his classes, and that no one should be bashful about coming in. “We have a lot of overweight women who take the class, and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be able to wear heels,” he told Shine. “It’s just a matter of adjusting the heel height and type of shoe. We don’t criticize or make anyone feel unwelcome.”
For those who can’t attend Chu’s personalized classes, the footwear expert shared five tips you can incorporate into your heel-wearing lifestyle today:
1. Make sure your heels really fit. Often we force our feet into improper shoes because we bought the wrong size or a style that isn’t comfortable or stable. “There are literally thousands of styles to choose from,” Chu advised when asked about shopping for heels. “A good fit means that it’s snug on your foot. if you have wobbling at the ankles or the fit is bad, go for more coverage around the foot like thicker straps instead of thin straps.”
2. Check your soles. Make sure that the sole of the shoe is completely flat to the floor and doesn’t tip over or wobble. “This will help to give you a lot of stability,” he said. “Avoid those shoes that have a ‘boat bottom,’ meaning it’s not completely flat to the surface of the floor.”
3. Improve your core. “It will give you tons of control when you’re walking, and that’s important for keeping your back straight and providing stability and control when walking,” said Chu.
4. Posture is everything. Remember to keep your head up high and your shoulders back.
5. Look straight ahead. When walking down the street, always be aware of what’s ahead of you at least 1/3 of the way down the block. “Look ahead, not down,” Chu said. “If you’re looking down, this means your shoes don’t fit well. There shouldn’t be anything hurting or pinching.”

DIY tips for crossdressers
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/11/29/diy-tips-for-crossdressers/
DIY tips for crossdressers
Tumblr media
Some of the DIY beauty myths you’ve heard over the years are BS. Whoever thought washing hair with beer was a good idea must have been under the influence of one too many shandies themselves, but there are some quick fixes you can try at home that do work. Here are some of our favourites:
Tumblr media
1. Drink a large bottle of water after brushing your teeth.
This is MC cover girl, Cameron Diaz’s tip for waking up your digestive tract for the day. ‘Every night before I go to sleep, I fill up a big glass bottle with water and put it on my bathroom counter. First thing in the morning, right after I brush my teeth, I drink it. Because I know that during the night, while I am sleeping, all of that breathing in and out exhales a lot of moisture from my lungs. Imagine how much water you can lose during eight hours of breathing! Because we can’t replenish it while we are sleeping, it’s important to rehydrate once we wake. Once I drink the water in the bottle by my sink, I feel it immediately. I go from being a wilted plant to one that has just been rejuvenated by the rain.’
Tumblr media
2. Use mayonnaise to protect your hair
Before you dismiss this as utter madness, just look at Blake Lively’s lusicous mane. The actress has just revealed in an interview with Byrdie that she puts mayonnaise on the bottom half of her hair before showering. This cunning DIY trick means that the mid-lengths and ends are protected when shampooing, so the soap can’t strip all the natural moisture and dry it out. Blake’s mum taught her this trick and it seems to have served her well. Just make sure you rinse thoroughly.
3. Use honey as a face mask
Honey (it has to be raw honey, mind you) has antibacterial properties and is very effective at helping acne-prone skin. Slather on your face, leave for 10 minutes, wash off with warm water and the job’s a good’un. Some people complain that the honey draws out the toxins, causing problem skin to get worse before it gets better, but in the long run it’s a good solution.
4. Use baking soda on teeth to make them whiter
Are you loathed to splash out on expensive teeth whitening kits? Try mixing one tablespoon of baking soda with three drops of hydrogen peroxide then use it as a toothpaste for a healthy set of pearly whites.
5. Shave legs with hair conditionerForget spending money on a separate shaving foam, simply use hair conditioner instead. It’s super moisturising, makes the hairs softer and therefore easier to shave. Winning. 4. Use evening primrose oil to help spots heal faster
Burst an evening primrose oil capsule and apply to troublesome spots to help them heal in half the time. It has anti-inflammatory properties, which can really help take the redness out of sore spots. Apply overnight and sleep in it for best results.
6. Never EVER go without a pot of VaselinePetroleum jelly has countless uses. One of our favourite things to do is slather it all over our feet, slip on a pair of fluffy socks and then sleep. If you dye your own hair, it’s great for preventing the dye from staining your skin, just use it as a barrier around the hairline, ears and neck. Finally, it can also be used to tame unruly eyebrows.
Tumblr media
7. Lemon peel can remove nail varnish stainsIf dark nail polish has stained your nails, simply rub some lemon peel on the stubborn spot. Soaking the tips of your nails in lemon juice can also make then whiter. 8. Use an orange to exfoliateThe acid and Vitamin C in oranges makes for an excellent exfoliator. If you don’t have time to be concucting fancy homemade potions and lotions, simply cut an orange in half and use on your knees and elbows.
9. Shave your legs lastIf you tend to get bumpy or irritated legs after shaving, do it at the end of your shower when the warm water will have opened up your pores and the hair will be softer.
10. Keep your beauty products in the fridgeNot all of them, obviously, but nail varnishes, eyebrow & eyeliner pencils and lipsticks can all be kept in the chilled section. Doing this will make your polishes last longer, as well as causing lip & eye pencils to be firmer and therefore give sharper lines.
Tumblr media
11. Serum + foundation = beautifully soft skin
Add a drop of serum (we love Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair) to your foundation to give your skin an extra glow.
12. Add a drop of peppermint oil to your lipgloss
Add just a drop for a plumped up pout. Warning: it may tingle.

Transgender Makeovers and Photography (Male to Female Transgender / Crossdressing Tips)
Background; why transgender clients are important to us
Transgender makeovers and photography by style me quirky are one of the core services we offer largely becuase of the reputation and popularity of SmQ’s founder Pops’ gender bending DJ act POPCOX. After a lifetime of dress up, cross dressing, acting, performing, fancy dress and 15 years of professional DJing, everything came together after a promoter friend booked Pops to DJ as his alter ego to headline of of his club nights in May 2008. It was a huge success and the rest as they say is history!
In a short space of time, Pops developed a fan base of around 6,000+ fans across various social networking sites across the web. The fanbase compiled predominantly transgender people around the world and Pops felt compelled to reach out to them in their own media. After researching and finding various transgender magazines, Pops got in touch and wrote various articles for each magazine. During that time, Pops was thinking about projects and services he could provide for his transgender brothers and sisters.
Transgender Makeovers and Photography
Now the project is up and running transgender makeovers and photography is an important aspect of what we do. Top 10 Dos and Don’ts for Your Male to Female Transformation
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/11/15/top-10-dos-and-donts-for-your-male-to-female-transformation/
Top 10 Dos and Don’ts for Your Male to Female Transformation
So many things go into being a woman… makeup and clothing are just the beginning!
To help you be your best feminine self, here are my top 10 dos and don’ts for your male to female transformation.
1. DON’T compare yourself to cisgender women
Comparing yourself to cisgender (genetic) women can set you up for disappointment. Remember, they have a lot of advantages – including being born and raised female!
This isn’t a competition. Instead, focus on being the best feminine version of YOU.
2. DO find female role models
While you shouldn’t compare yourself to other women, it IS a good idea to observe and learn from them.
When you see a woman who looks put together, observe the details. How does she dress, speak, move, and behave? You don’t need to be a copycat, but incorporate some of these details into your own image.
3. DO invest in great shaping wear
The shape of your body broadcasts your gender, so one of the most important items to invest in is great shapewear. This is even more essential than spending money on expensive clothing!
Depending on your natural shape, you may want to invest in the following:
Breast forms in an ideal shape/size for your body
Waist cincher
Padded panties (with butt and hip padding)
Control top pantyhose
4. DON’T forget your voice
There’s nothing quite as jarring as a beautifully made up woman with a voice that doesn’t match.
While it’s not essential to have the most perfectly pitched voice, putting some effort into a congruent voice will have a big impact on your image. Check out The 30 Day Crash Course for a guided 30 day voice feminization program.
5. DO dress age appropriately
Dressing appropriately for your age is a style must for every woman.
This is NOT to suggest that you have to look like a frump if you are above a certain age. You simply need to choose pieces that reflect the best version of you without looking too young or too old. See my 3 Rules for Dressing Sexy at Any Age for more on this topic.
6. DON’T overdo it
The biggest mistake you can make is overdoing it. This applies to all women!
Wearing too much makeup, dressing too sexily, and over-exaggerating your movements are all no-nos. These big mistakes attract the wrong kind of attention. Instead, think subtle and stylish.
7. DO get a second opinion
It’s hard to see ourselves objectively. That’s why everybody needs a trusted friend for a second opinion. If you don’t have a girlfriend you trust nearby, find a forum or even post your images in the comments section here for an objective opinion on your image.
8. DO choose your environment wisely
Your safely is the most important thing, so needless to say, you should choose your environment wisely. If you go out en femme, do so in a safe environment where you are likely to be met with acceptance and support.
9. DO practice your moves
Your body language and movements communicate more about you than almost anything else. Pay attention to your movements by keeping them fluid and feminine. Check out these articles for more tips:
10. DON’T forget to have fun
Whether you’re at home or in public, being a woman is supposed to be fun! Drop the guilt, the comparisons, and the need for perfection and enjoy being the woman that you are!
What are YOUR top dos and don’ts?
Now that you’ve seen my list, what are YOUR top dos and don’ts? Please share in the comments below!

7 Belly-Flattening Fashion Tricks for Crossdressers and MTF Transgender Women
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/11/07/7-belly-flattening-fashion-tricks-for-crossdressers-and-mtf-transgender-women/
7 Belly-Flattening Fashion Tricks for Crossdressers and MTF Transgender Women
Tumblr media
An attractive waist-to-hip ratio is an important symbol of feminine beauty.
Does that mean all hope is lost if your tummy is your trouble spot?
Absolutely not! For an instant fix, just work a few strategic tummy-trimming and waistline-slimming looks into your wardrobe.
Aside from making you look thinner, these will also help create a more feminine, hourglass shape.
Keep reading for my top 7 belly-flattening fashion tricks for crossdressers and MTF transgender women:
Trick #1: Wear a shaping camisole
Corsets and girdles will certainly pull you in, but they’re not very comfortable for daily wear.
Instead, wear a shaping camisole under your clothes. It’s a wonderful alternative for trimming inches from your waist and belly – while still allowing you to breath.
Trick #2: Try a tummy-minimizing peplum
Tumblr media
Peplums are very “in” right now and they’re a fabulous style for crossdressers and MTF transgender women.
A peplum is a short overskirt attached at the waistline of a top, dress, or jacket that’s perfect for covering a full belly. And thanks to the fit-and-flare styling, a peplum will also give you that sexy hourglass shape.
Trick #3: Avoid bottoms that sit too far above or below your waistline
Tumblr media
If you have a big belly, the waistband of your skirt or pants should sit just below your belly button.
If the waistband is too high, it’ll look like your stomach is popping out below. If the waistband is too low, you’ll get the “muffin top” look.
Trick #4: Wear a light colored jacket over a dark top
Wearing a light colored jacket over a dark top is a great way to downplay an ample tummy. The jacket conceals excess poundage while the dark color underneath makes your belly recede into the background.
For the best results, look for a jacket with some shape. Princess seams are especially feminine and flattering.
Trick #5: Downplay belly rolls with a ruched top
Tumblr media
Ruching (i.e. fabric that’s gathered along the seam line) is perfect for concealing an ample belly.
Unlike “flat” fabrics that reveal every bulge, ruching hides what’s underneath – including those dreaded belly rolls.
Trick #6: Just say “no” to tight clothes
Tumblr media
If your belly is your trouble spot, you definitely want to avoid wearing tight clothes.
Clothes that are too tight (including bras and panties) will dig in and create unsightly bulges – calling even more attention to the area.
Trick #7: Avoid oversized clothes
Just as you should avoid clothes that are too tight, neither do you want to wear clothes that are too loose. Trying to hide a big belly under an oversized top just makes you look bigger.
Instead, your most flattering option is clothes that skim – rather than drown – your midsection.
No more trouble spots
Looking your best as a woman is all about downplaying trouble spots while playing up your assets.
Use these tricks to solve your “tummy troubles” and then move on! It’s impossible for people to notice your flaws if they’re too busy looking at something else – like your sexy legs, breasts, or behind.
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
What are your best feminine features – and how do you like to show them off?

Out of the Closet: Relationship Tips for Crossdressers and Transgender Women
https://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/10/16/out-of-the-closet-relationship-tips-for-crossdressers-and-transgender-women/
Out of the Closet: Relationship Tips for Crossdressers and Transgender Women
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note from Lucille: This is a guest post by Leanne, Transformation Maven of Lesada. Relationships are an important (and complex) topic, so I’m excited to bring you Leanne’s perspective. We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!
Dresses, skirts, lingerie and shoes – where do you put all the shoes?! It doesn’t take long for a closet to fill up. The more cluttered it gets, the harder it is to tell what’s there and what fits beautifully on you.
The same can be said for the metaphorical closet. The longer you keep yourself hidden, the harder it is to see who you really are. That is a great loss to yourself and to your partner. Hiding who you are takes a lot of energy that is better spent on keeping the sparkle in your relationship and enriching your experiences in life. Hiding who you are also causes a lot of stress and unnecessary strain on you and your relationships.
If you are concerned that your secret life will hurt someone you care about, or that they will think less of you, consider instead that they are missing the opportunity of knowing the truly beautiful person you are. You are actually robbing them of the opportunity to love you completely.
The exciting thing about being in love is wanting to know everything you can about the person who makes your heart sing. You want to know their private intimacies, how they think, what turns them on, their history and story that made them who they are. You want to know these things because you love them and want to give them the best. Why would they not want the same of you?
I encourage you to love yourself first. Loving who you are, without shame, loving the whole you, frees your spirit so you can grow to be all that you are meant to be. What a gift to give yourself! What a gift to give your partner!
There are far too many crossdressers and transgender women in the closet. I have heard enough stories about secrets, but I have also heard many stories of success. Secrets hurt and indicate shame. Being yourself is not shameful. It’s time to come out of the closet, clear the clutter and make room for more shoes!
Here are some tips from couples on how to incorporate your feminine side into a successful, loving relationship:
Great journeys begin with a single step. If you have a huge fantasy of being a woman, full time with your wife, but you haven’t told her yet, start small! Do little things to gradually work up to your goal. Start by painting each other’s toe nails for example. Baby steps, baby steps.
Tell her you love her. Assure her that you love her as well as yourself, and that you will be a better partner to her if you don’t have secrets. Let her know that she is still the love of your life, even if you are seeking new friendships.
Compromise. Don’t push your partner to go beyond what she is willing to do. This may take a lot of getting used to on her part, especially if you’ve been the same in the relationship for many years.
Make it fun! People continue to do things when they are having fun, so be playful and loving while she discovers this new side of you. Maybe she could dress up and be someone different as well while you are en femme. Private secrets between just you too can be very fun!
Find friends. Join groups online, attend events or conferences that are non-sexual in nature so she can be assured that you aren’t deviating from your relationship with her.
Encourage her to seek out friends who are also in crossdressing/transgender relationships. Crossing Paths is a group just for her.
Seek a coach or mediator to guide you through this new phase of your relationship

Is Gender Dysphoria Keeping You Down? (Male to Female Transgender / Crossdressing Tips)
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/10/15/is-gender-dysphoria-keeping-you-down-male-to-female-transgender-crossdressing-tips/
Is Gender Dysphoria Keeping You Down? (Male to Female Transgender / Crossdressing Tips)
Gender Dysphoria is a condition of feeling one’s emotional and psychological identity as male or female to be opposite to one’s biological sex.
Clearly this condition can get stressful for anyone. When your body and mind are not connecting as one; it can really ruin a good mood. We understand this, and we would like to help.
We asked our Glamour Girls to explain to us some of the way they stay positive when feeling down about their dysphoria and we got some really good feedback. Here’s some great advice from an even greater community of individuals that know exactly what you are going through.
Put on an outfit you know you look good in.
“Wearing a pair of fabulous heels to feel super confident and sexy!”- Emily Couture
What’s a better way to make you feel better about yourself, than putting on an outfit that you know you look and feel awesome in? No matter how fancy or ridiculous the outfit is for lounging around the house- do it.
Cuddle your pet.
Pets are the perfect companions when you’re in an insecure mood, since they give unconditional love no matter what you look like or who you are. They don’t have one judgmental bone in their little tiny bodies. You can just cuddle and play with your pet until they inevitably put a smile on your face.
Treat yourself
“Retail therapy at G USA is a great diversion and puts me in a creative mood. Shopping most anywhere for coupons and deals focuses my attention away from my gender preference and gives me a positive outlook for my ‘Kim time’ to come”- Kim Rydick
“New lingerie always does it for me”- Daniel P
“A new pair of heels”- Samantha “Sami” Prescott
A typical response would be to “buy some ice cream”, but I don’t exactly believe in this tactic. Eating does not make me feel better- at all! It honestly does the opposite because then I feel even more insecure because I just ate a whole tub of Ben and Jerry’s… to myself… If I want to cheer myself up, I’ll go to Sephora, the salon, or to Bloomingdales. Leaving any of these places with a purchase, puts a smile on my face. So, go to your favorite place and buy yourself something that will make you happy. Treat yourself.
Set goals for yourself
This will keep you on track to finding happiness and peace in your life. When you are constantly pushing yourself, you will eventually become the woman you always wanted to be. Shying away from a difficult thing will keep you feeling down. The happier you will be the more goals you reach. Trust me.
Convert your frustrations into something positive
“I convert it into something positive and focus that positivity towards other who might need it as much, or more than me.”- Stephanie Anne Jeffries
Looking back at old photos and pondering past experiences will remind you about everything you have been through. It will hopefully get you to see that you can handle anything.
Get lost in some music
It’s awesome how music can affect your mood. Put on your favorite feel good music and dance around your house. Guarantee you forget all about the haters.
Surround yourself with friends that understand or might be going through the same thing
“I usually talk to supportive friends and family.”- Cassie Jo Smith
A great support group is a must have. You can’t take on the world alone- I mean you can- but that is no fun. Having other people to share bad experiences with, makes it a whole lot easier.
Start a journal or blog
If you don’t want to talk to anyone, let out your emotions in writing. Whether it be digitally or on paper. Letting it out somewhere usually helps relive the stressful emotions.
Exercise
“A cardio workout! Keeps my spirits high and healthy”- Nikki Cordova
For many people, getting lost in a good workout helps a lot. Your mind is free and you’re focused on the task at hand. Nothing can come in between that; giving you a stress free hour or so. It’s a win, win.
Take a long nap
This is my go to solution for a lot of things. Sleep is amazing and will obviously keep you relaxed. You will wake up feeling refreshed and maybe you will have a different outlook on your issues with a level head.
I hope any of you reading will try some of these tips when feeling down for any reason. These tips don’t just work for dealing with gender dysphoria but, mainly any situation. They are great tricks to incorporate into your life to insure you live a happy and fulfilling life.

Etched Lace Men’s Bra

Etched Lace Men’s Bra
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alison alerted me to this "Etched Lace Men's Bra." The description for this men's brassiere reads, "We love the clean lines of this crisp monochromatic crop-top for men. Made from a medium-weight stretch fabric embossed with an etched lace design, this bra features a curved inset of lace at the bust for contouring. With a shaped athletic-styled back and pop-over styling for easy access. Etched Lace Men's Bra." So, who is selling this item of lingerie for lads? You would probably guess it was an online exotic lingerie store, but you would be wrong. It's ! Walmart also sells panties for men. What is this world coming to?

Do apply make-up in the lighting you’ll be photographed in so it’s not too heavy,” says Factor. “For natural light, avoid sparkle — it accentuates fine lines and ages you.”’
“Do use a light-reflecting concealer (like Make Up For Ever HD Concealer) to combat undereye shadows,” he says.
“Don’t wear too much blush,” and blend it in really well.
“Do use an anti-shine product to keep skin matte. Oily skin looks shinier in pictures taken with flash.”
Do cheat the camera.” Stand sideways, cross your legs to slim the body, and twist your shoulders to face the photographer. “Definitely don’t stand dead-on,” he advises.
Don’t chew gum. You’ll get snapped mid-chomp.”
“Do mind your posture. Confidence shines through in every photo, so bring it!”

Weekend Wanderings

This cartoon from Pinterest makes me chuckle because something similar happened to me. One spring day, while I was walking on Fifth Avenue in New York City, a group of young males approached from the opposite direction. As I passed them, one of the males remarked, "Dyke." He had no idea how good that made me feel!

I am a big fan of your site. I look at it every day and I love the yearbook collection, especially the pictures from the 70's when I was in high school. I never participated in a womanless pageant so it's fun to live vicariously through the pictures.
Is there an easier way to see just the new photos rather than going through each letter of the alphabet and then going to the end of each album? In the past, you had one large collection with the most recent photosat the beginning, so it was easier to see the new additions. No matter what, Thanks for posting them!

flickr made some changes and the other option did not always work reliably, so I decided not to mention it. Maybe it is working today, so if you want to try it, click here and hopefully the newest pictures will be at the beginning of my Photostream.

Readers ask me how to support the blog monetarily. One way is via Amazon. Some of my blog posts have links to Amazon, for example, here is a link for Avon makeup wipes. If you click on the link and purchase the makeup wipes or anything else on Amazon, the blog receives a percentage of your payment. That is a very painless way to support the blog; you get something you want or need and the blog gets something, too. So, support Femulate! And thank you in advance.

Who Wore It Better?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was up at 5:30 AM and the first thing I did was power up the TV to watch the weather and traffic reports. I tuned to channel 8, WTNH out of New Haven and the talking heads (Keith Kountz and Laura Hutchinson) were at it. Suddenly I am wide awake as I notice that Laura is wearing the same Calvin Klein dress that I own –– the white cable knit sweater dress I am wearing in the photo at the top of the blog. That is second time in the past month that I noticed a woman wearing the same dress I own. The other was Kate Goselin, who was wearing a Calvin Klein color block dress that I own. I have to say that Laura and Kate have excellent fashion sense!

10 Super Simple All Natural Beauty Tips for crossdressers

10 Super Simple All Natural Beauty Tips for crossdressers
The world would have us believe that there are no simple and inexpensive natural beauty tips and source) And according to a UK survey, women will spend well over a year of their life applying that makeup. (source) Ouch. That, of course, says nothing of the toxic chemicals so commonly found (with almost zero regulation) in beauty products. Yep. Seems like the world is telling us that we need to spend lots of time, lots of money, and risk our health to be beautiful. Don’t believe it. For starters, let’s get real about the idea of beauty. To me it’s about unmasking the real person, not covering it up. And there are lots of simple ways to thank your body, feel more beautiful, and not have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Here are just 10. They are easy. They are all natural. And yet, still luxurious. Enjoy.
tricks. What makes me say that?  Well, did you know that the beauty industry is a nearly $300 BILLION dollar empire? And that the average woman spends about $15,00 on just makeup in her lifetime! (
10 Simple All Natural Beauty Tips
1. Banana and Egg Hair Treatment
Looking for a little more shine in your hair? Simply mix one egg and a mashed up banana. Apply it as a thick paste to your hair and leave it on for 10 – 30 minutes. Wash it our doing your usual hair washing ritual (if you usually use a store-bought conditioner you’ll probably only need to condition the ends). And voila!
2. Moisturizing Nail Treatment
Soak your nails in olive oil for five minutes. And then sit back and admire your pretty hands.
3. Simple Honey Face Mask
Raw honey is naturally anti-bacterial and a super quick way to get soft, beautiful skin. Once a week use a tablespoon or so of raw honey (not the processed stuff parading as honey) and gently warm it by rubbing your fingertips together. Spread on your face. Leave on for 5 – 10 minutes and then use warm water to gently rinse it off and pat dry. Then bask in the glow of your honey-awesomeness. This raw honey is awesome, by the way.
4. Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Shampoo
For those who are using commercial shampoos: To help eliminate any build up in your hair, mix ¼ cup organic apple cider vinegar (like this) with 1 cup water. Follow with your usual conditioner.
5. Elbow and Knee Exfoliate and Skin Brightener
Cut an orange in half and rub it on your elbows and knees. Helps soften those rough patches. And it smells good. (Rinse off the sticky mess when you are done.)
6. Gentle Body Scrub
Mix a 2 to 1 ratio of olive oil and sea salt to make a quick and effective body scrub. This helps get rid of dead skin cells creating softer, more glowing skin. And this natural beauty tip is much cheaper that expensive store bought  body scrubs.
7. Easy Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment
Want super soft, hydrated hair? Use melted coconut oil as a deep conditioning hair and scalp treatment. Massage coconut oil into your scalp and then work it through your hair. Leave it on for a couple of hours and then wash it out using shampoo (no need to condition unless you have really long hair and then maybe just the ends.) Note: For you no ‘poo-ers keep in mind that coconut oil will saturate your hair with awesome goodness… that can be really hard to get out with just baking soda and *some* natural shampoos. You may want to try just a little coconut oil on a little section of hair and see if you can get it out before you do this. Otherwise you might have really greasy (but soft!) hair for a few washes. NOT that I’m speaking from personal experience of anything (*cough*).
8. Simple Toxic-Free Shaving Cream
Use coconut oil on your legs as a natural replacement for your shaving cream. Talk about a simple, natural beauty tip.
9. All Natural Black Head Removal
Place 4 or 5 drops of raw honey on an open lemon wedge. Then rub the lemon on your face for a minute, emphasizing any trouble areas. Leave the mixture on for 5 minutes and rinse with cold water. (Keep in mind that citrus can make your skin photosensitive so it’s best to do this before bed rather than before going outside).
10. Dry Brushing for Better Skin
Dry brushing is a simple detoxification process for your body. It stimulates a number of organs through a gently massage. It also helps the lymphatic system, eliminates dead skin coatings, strengthens the immune system, can eliminate cellulite, stimulates the hormones, and can help tighten skin through better circulation. Best of all, it’s cheap and easy. Learn more about dry brushing and how to do it here. Here’s a great skin brush to get you started!
Take Care
Remember, the best beauty secrets are not quick fixes. They require good sleep, stress management, proper nutrition, and physical exercise. While all these little “gems” above can provide some oomph to your beauty routine, remember that real beauty is a result of taking care (or “thanking”) your body on a daily basis. And by being you. Because you are beautiful. Tell me, what are your “go to” beauty tips?

10 Lingerie Items Every Crossdresser and Transgender Woman Should Own
http://crossdress.silicone-breast.com/2017/03/17/10-lingerie-items-every-crossdresser-and-transgender-woman-should-own/
10 Lingerie Items Every Crossdresser and Transgender Woman Should Own
Tumblr media
Wearing lingerie is a guaranteed way to feel feminine. Best of all, it’s something you can indulge in on a daily basis.
What are the lingerie items every (or at least, almost every) crossdresser and transgender woman should own?
Read on for my top 10 picks!
1. Basic black or nude bra
Tumblr media
Every girl needs a basic bra, so a simple nude or black bra is a must. If you’re having trouble finding your size, try the Leading Lady Lightly Padded Contour Underwire Bra. It comes in a wide range of sizes that would fit most crossdressers and transgender women. (Band sizes 36-54, cup sizes A-G)
2. Panty gaff
Tumblr media
For a flat and feminine look, a panty gaff is your best friend. A gaff, of course, is an undergarment designed to offer smoothing up front. Here are a few options:
Classic Gaff by The Dress Form Store
Super Strong Hiding Gaff by Suddenly Fem
Lace Control Panty Gaff by Glamour Boutique
3. Shaping camisole
Tumblr media
Who can’t use a little slimming in the middle? A shaping camisole will help trim your waist and belly without squeezing you like a corset or girdle. I like the camisoles from Yummie Tummie, which go up to a size 3x.
4. Padded panty
Tumblr media
If you crave curves (and who doesn’t?), padded panties offer an instant solution. Your options range from light lifting to full-on hip and butt shaping. Here are a few of my favorites:
Light shaping – Butt Lifting Padded Panties By TrueShapers
Medium shaping – The Glamour Gal Silicone Hip and Butt Padded Shaper
Full shaping – Veronicas by Classic Curves
5. Nude or black pantyhose
Tumblr media
While women don’t wear pantyhose as often as they used to, pantyhose looks more polished than bare skin and enhances the appearance of your legs. Your lingerie wardrobe should include a pair of black and/or nude hose.
6. Slinky nightie
Tumblr media
There’s nothing like slipping into a slinky nightgown to make you feel extra feminine. Whether you prefer long or short, you should own at least one silky nightie. Or better yet, buy a few in different lengths and colors.
7. Basic panties
Tumblr media
Sometimes simple is best! Whether you prefer thongs, bikinis, or briefs, you should own at least a few basic panties.
8. Sexy bra and panty set
Tumblr media
While the basics are important, half the fun of lingerie is expressing your sensuous side. That’s why no wardrobe is complete without at least one super sexy bra and panty set.
9. Nubra
Tumblr media
The Nubra is an adhesive bra that’s fantastic for creating cleavage. Since it’s backless and strapless, it can be worn alone or under another bra. To learn how to create feminine cleavage with the Nubra, see my tutorial here.
10. Silk or satin robe
Tumblr media
A silk or satin robe is a classic boudoir piece that will make you feel ultra feminine. You should have at least one so you have something sensuous to slip into when you are at home.
