NOTES : yeah, yeah. i know. 4 months since i last posted, 5 months since i posted a request. i really am sorry, i’ve just had no motivation to write. i promise i can make it up to you guys! anyway, should i write more characters? wondering about that. anyway, yes you can anon! sorry for leaving this req in the dust lmao! also, new year, new theme. also, the gender for the reader isn’t specified, so i made it gn :)

PAIRING : cody anderson x gn!reader

Cody and Y/N being a couple was … not really a surprise to anyone who was a fan of Total Drama or who was on Total Drama. Cody was obviously head-over-heels not only for Gwen, but secretly for Y/N (Not really secretly, Cody’s shit at hiding stuff). Y/N had made it clear to the world they had a massive crush on Cody, so the cast just realized they’d happen at some point.

But never in their life would they assume when they actually did, they’d be so disgusting. Disgusting as in; smooching, hugging, cuddling in public area’s.

Cody always said, “can’t blame me, I’m with a pretty person!” and Y/N would always say to their friends, “Valentine’s day is coming up. Maybe you should ask someone and get the feel of having a relationship for once.”

Just to clarify, Leshawna beat their ass after that.

Y/N’s arms hugged around Cody’s neck, as they hummed and rested their head on his collarbone. His arms were around their waist, his eyes just closed.

Cody’s love language had always clearly been physical affection, or maybe even words of affirmation. It made his heart happy — happy when it was theirs too. Cody personally thought he had never seen anyone as perfect as them, it shook him to his core (or so he says).

Hand holding, hugging in the middle of everything, even sneaking in a couple of kisses when they weren’t supposed too.

Yeah, Chris got a load of that for sure.

Y/N’s head lifted off of Cody, slipping their hand into his. “Maybe we should get back to the competition, okay?” Y/N spoke, laughing a bit after their sentence.

Cody wormed out a half-assed smile, nodding mindlessly. He had missed the warmth; but knowing it had to happen anyway. Chris wouldn’t take it.

“Okay.” Cody said, sighing out a bit.

Y/N dragged him away, their hands still interlocked.

“You know, Cody,” Started Y/N, leaning against the couch as his eyes glanced over at Cody. “I definitely want some type of farm. Like, y’know, cows n’ stuff.”

Cody furrowed his eyebrows, confused to the sudden topic, and to the new knowledge. Yet let them soften as he nods, a bit interested in the rant. “What other animals besides cows?”

“Definitely pigs.” Grinned the boy, nodding his head slowly and crossing his arms. “You seen how cute they are? I want them in my life.”

“They’re also really good foo—”

Y/N hums loudly, clicking the roof of his mouth with his tongue. “Do not finish that sentence!” He warned. Cody frowned looking down, then back over at Y/N.

“Really good food.” Cody mutters, finishing his sentence. A pillow smacked the side of his head, making Cody collapse onto his side onto the couch. “Ow! C’mon!”

“Deserved.” Y/N said, relaxing back into his seat. “Anyway, I’ll totally have that classic farm house; Whatever they’re called, and I’ll have a super sweet husband who does all the work for me.”

“Not a single thing for you to do?”

“Not a single thing.”

Cody chuckles at the response. “Seems kinda harsh on him. Can I volunteer for that position actually?” Cody said, his words shocking Y/N a bit.

“You? Feeding cows? Pigs?” Snorted Y/N loudly. “As if! But yeah, whatever. Let’s see if you’re really up for being some sort of farmer boy.”
