Brayden walked up to get everything set up for his set very much later, but he liked to make sure he had everything in shape for a decent set. He looked down at his set up and realized he was forgetting one of his mixers was missing. He wasn’t exactly happy, but he was certain he took it and had it in his possession. Guess not. He heard a voice not far, and he wasn’t sure what was said because he was already absorbed in his thoughts. “Um, what?” he looked over to where the voice was coming from and his eyes fell on the other.

usually cleo was the first the one to know about the entertainment coming in and setting up. the woman never bothered them, she just liked to sit back and enjoy all the money her family was making by having people coming and dj for their pool parties. one of the kiss hotel’s specialties. “i thought you were one of the guest here,” she shrugged before kicking her leg up to sit up better and fix her sunglasses on her face. “are you ready for the night? a lot spring breakers here tonight so get ready to see some tits tonight.” she giggled out before waving over one of the waitresses and ordering a drink for herself. “want one?” she asked turning to brayden.

ares grinned and sat down on the edge of the chair, “thanks.” he wasn’t too fond of small talk, but he had gotten good at it over the years. it was definitely part of the bar tender job description and he definitely faked it till he made it. “well, i won’t be here too long. just long enough to get a little bit of color and then i’ll be out of your hair, princess,” he winked. ares made himself comfortable on the chair and closed his eyes. there were few things he enjoyed more than the feeling of the sun warming his skin. “the dj any good?”

cleo was used to the nickname of princess because it’s what everyone called her and it was very much true. she never lifted a finger for anything, she had her daddy’s money, she was the heir to the kiss hotels in las vegas and new york. everything was going to be in her name when the day came but she didn’t have to worry about any of that for awhile. a waitress came by and set down cleo’s drink and thanked her with a kind smile before turning back to ares. “one of the best. i hand picked him myself. he was going to work at cesars but we offered more so here he is.” hummed the woman, bringing up her cold glass up to her lips.

honey had begrudgingly gotten up early to get a start on her day. the femme had a substantial amount of minor errands to run and all she could think about was the reward for a long day waiting for her in her hotel bar. at the moment, she found herself at the kiss hotel pool in a two piece she wasn’t fond of. there wasn’t anything particularly wrong with it, but the designer wasn’t her favorite and her first choice was reserved for personal endeavors in favor of business ventures. taking in the area surrounding, she’d taking up a lounger and a magazine to keep a more innocent appearance but boredom was easy to perceive. her gaze befell the other girl’s frame for maybe a half second before the other was glancing at her, which immediately sharpened honey’s attention. ❝ sorry, i might have zoned out a little bit ❞ she lied, an easy smile settling over her features in spite of her instinctive urges to spark up in the defensive.

cleo wasn’t always the type of women to get so snappy with everyone. she didn’t start acting this way until she arrived in las vegas awhile ago. it basically became her tone most of the time she was interacting with people. in her mind, she had a lot of things going on in it and her mind was on a forever run. the dark haired woman hummed out before slipping her sunglasses back on her face, leaning back into her lounge chair. “it’s whatever. sit and relax, it’ll be nice to have another woman around for a bit. these out of town pigs swear as if they’ll have a chance with people who look like us,” she picked up her magazine on her side and opened it to a random page. “it’s funny to turn them down.”

ares usually spent his days off in bed, catching up on all the sleep he missed. today was a beautiful day, though. the first in what felt like forever. so, he decided he would spend some time at the pool. he expected the pool to be more packed than it was, but there was hardly anyone there. not that he was complaining. he walked around to find the best chair available. when he found on that was perfectly in the sun, he noticed that someone was in the one next to it. he didn’t want to take someone’s chair if she wasn’t alone. he cleared his throat and smiled when she acknowledged him, “i was just going to see if this chair was open? i’m just trying to get a bit tan,” he chuckled, “and this spot seems to get the best sun.”

cleo’s blue orbs gazed up from her sunglasses as she heard a voice coming from the side of her. her eyes flickered to the empty white chair beside her then back to the man before her. “yeah, whatever,” she shrugged before putting her sunglasses back on her face then leaning back into her lounge chair. “it is, that’s exactly why it’s my cabana area. it’s the perfect spot where the sun hits and it’s right near the dj for when the sun comes down.” explained cleo while pointing over at the empty stage. “pool party night, he’ll be setting up in a few hours.”

“somebody better be dead or god damn close to dying… do i look like i’m back here fuckin’ around? i’m busy.” angelo warned, getting up from his desk and adjusting the jacket what adorned his shoulders accordingly. christopher should’ve covered the walk through of the casino floor two hours ago… yet here he was, getting ripped away from planning tomorrows drop to make face and shake hands with tourists and visitors. which meant it was time to play the part of charming. easy. per usual, two members of his business family trailed a safe distance behind him as soon as he hit the floor of the casino’s busy floor. “i have an hour before i need to go make sure the girls are good over at the club, one of you idiots fuckin’ find someone handle this… now.” he warning behind him to the two before easily switching his persona mode to angelo: the owner of synn hotel. shaking hands was painless, offering hellos, asking how stays were handled meticulously. stopping at one of the black jack tables, the blond perched against the empty space, smiling over at the dealer with a smirk, turning his attention and blue eyes to the person occupying chair at the table, “how’s your night going? good game?”

cleo’s night was pretty much the same, she woke up before noon and got herself ready for a day of shopping and a having a few drinks every so often. as the sun went down, she arrived back to the kiss hotel where her father was getting ready to go out for the night with his friends. cleo decided to go out herself and made sure to dress into the new outfit she got herself earlier that day. the dark haired beauty found her way at the synn hotel. as her father was good friends with angelo and she saw him as an uncle, she knew she was safe in this place. cleo sat at one of the black jack tabled and she knew that these men would think she didn’t know on what she was doing as she looked the way she did. cleo always knew how to handle herself but when she heard a voice come from the side beside her, a smile formed on her red lips. “angelo, it’s a lovely night. so far so good. dad is around here somewhere, just thought i’d let you know. most likely at another table. but how is your night going?”
