me holding a gun to a mushroom: tell me the name of god you fungal piece of shit
mushroom: can you feel your heart burning? can you feel the struggle within? the fear within me is beyond anything your soul can make. you cannot kill me in a way that matters
me cocking the gun, tears streaming down my face: I’M NOT FUCKING SCARED OF YOU

Personal Preference Update on Media
I dunno maybe it's me at 30 about to go crazy or it's my raging pansexuality. But here goes:
I'm finally making a deal with sexualizing fictional women in media.
11 years ago I took Gender and Sexuality 101 in university. I was at a ripe age of 19 then. And of course there we studied feminism. And of course we studied sexualization of women in media.
It was from there I was quite passionate about criticizing sexualization of women in media.
In the same year, 2013, I witnessed internet people asked if Kill La Kill is a feminist anime. And we all know the answer wasn't clear-cut.
But the older I get. I more I can understand the great rift between fictional sexualization and real sexualization.
I don't deny women are sexualized in media, the male gaze, healer trope, mother trope etc. But the reason behind all these tropes happening over and over again is the patriarchy and it is majority of men who made these media. Ultimately, these are the fiction that majority men make and will make. I also learnt that these tropes usually supersede other representations of women that minority men like, for example, dominant women.
Growing up as a thirsty person for fictional people, I also want to say that empowering women sexualizing their counterparts in fiction also means that women in turn shouldn't demonize men for a shred of sexual fantasy of women. It is PATRIARCHY that made fiction that way. Don't blame fiction itself!
I guess that's just me and my two cents, Maybe I finally dealt with the devil that perhaps I could trade my growing appreciation for these sexual tropes of fictional characters so long as real women walk in the streets safe and sound, and they have roof over their heads and enjoy their hard-earned salary.
I just wish for a world where artists, male or female, or other genders, don't get harassed over fictional characters. That's all.
