         Clara's stomach was doing flips. What was she supposed to do now ?  It was a       relief to see that his timer hadn't already counted down. She didn't know what she'd       have done if he was married or something. ( Well, she wouldn't know what to do       more. ) Blushing, she pulled her hands away from her mouth and cleared her throat.       ❝    It's-uh-it's good to finally meet you,    ❞  she chuckled.  She extended her hand,       grinning from ear to ear. ❝    I'm Clara.    ❞

         He was quite handsome, she observed. His smile was probably infectious to       anyone who ever had the privilege of seeing it. Though he did have a massive       chin. It then finally occurred to Clara that he must have knocked on her door for a       reason                 it wasn't exactly usual to just wander about in hopes your mark       would reach zero. Everyone just let it happen. She spotted a car over his shoulder.       Maybe it had broken down ?

lying is a vital survival skill.

         Clara had to snicker at that.  ❝    Okay that was a good one,    ❞  she admitted.       She liked to think he got that from her. It did make a change from how oblivious his       last incarnation had been a lot of the time.  ❝    Question: will I get sun burnt ?  ❞  It        probably should have occurred to her earlier but she'd been a bit distracted.

Indeed she earned herself a glare fo such a comment. “Why would I be interested in your collection of skirts, Clara?” He didn’t seem to understand her sarcasm. “I could get my own just as easily.” He shrugged.

                          ❝  It was awful. I don't think I ever walked into such a big mess                               and that isn't just a criticism of the Doctor's groundskeeping.                There was a Skovox Blitzer and my boyfriend ruined what the Doctor                was planning. Then I told the Doctor who he was and I blurted out that                I loved him and the Doctor really didn't approve and was mad at me                basically until the planet was in danger.  ❞  Clara took a heavy breath,                impressed to have gotten through that in one go.  ❝  It doesn't help that                Danny hates the Doctor too.  ❞
