Sometimes water in the terminal well corrodes the connectors/wires on both power cord and pump causing all four wires to break. Check the pump wires while replacing the cord.

WHITE is the short wire connecting to the first terminal post. BROWN wire connects closest to the pump motor.

TOOLS: Philips and slotted screwdrivers. Small socket or nut driver set.

As repairs go, this can be very easy or a pain.

Remove the cable clamps from the handle and body. Turn the machine upside down, remove the filter bag and filter screen.

Locate the terminal cover and remove the screw. You may have to pry the cover out of the putty.

Scrape the putty from the terminals with the slotted screwdriver. SAVE THE PUTTY. It is electrical putty.

Use a nut driver to remove the terminal nuts.

Attach string or flexible wire to the round connectors on the cable, pull the cable out of the housing and remove the string/wire.

Reattach the string/wire to the new power cable and slowly pull the cable thru the body.

Reattach the cable connectors to the terminals, tighten the nuts.

Repack the terminal well with the saved putty and screw down the terminal cover.

Install the filter screen, filter bag and re-clamp the cable to the handle and body.

IF THE CABLE WON’T MOVE OR IT NEEDS FORCE…

loosen the 2 or 4 screws that anchor the motor. This will give enough wiggle space to move the cord out and in. DO NOT remove the screws unless you wish to remove the motor.

Both types of cleaners can only filter debris as small as the main filter will allow and require constant inspection and maintenance. They claim to 'brush' the pool, not with conventional brushes, but with other devices such as scrub pads, or bursts of water. Some just skim the surface. Others just vacuum the pool floor. A few do climb the walls, but with minimal efficiency. None have many of the features found on robotic cleaners, such as rotating scrubbing brushes, computer-guidance systems, internal pump and drive motors, internal filter systems and low voltage, economical operation.

After all, Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds (or PUGB, in short) runs on Unreal Engine 4, the same engine used by other Battle Royale shooters available on Mac. So why no MacOS support?

So where does that leave us?

How to play PUBG on Mac

This isn’t for everyone but if you’re open to running Windows on your Mac, you can certainly play Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds on it too (available on Steam). We definitely prefer to play MacOS games only, but exceptions can be made for the games we absolutely need to try.

If PUBG is that game for you, there are several methods you can use to run it on your Mac. Each method has clear advantages and disadvantages, so it will be up to you (and the performance requirements of the game) to decide which one is better suited for you:

The command above should install the old PHP 5 in /usr/local/php5 (which should be user-writable) and also write a new config file in /etc/apache2/other/+php-osx.conf, so please check and see if both exist. If you installed PHP 7.x, the folder is /usr/local/php7, of course.

Run apachectl -t -D DUMP_INCLUDES and check if the new config file is loaded (should be /etc/apache2/other/+php-osx.conf)

Try apachectl configtest and see if any errors occurred

Nov 21, 2018 Here’s how to perform a system restore to help fix your “desktop icons disappeared in Windows 10” issue: Type recovery in the Windows search box, then press Enter. At Recovery, click Open System Restore. Select Choose a different restore point, and click Next. Check the box beside Show more restore points. Right click the desktop to choose View Align Icons to Grid. Drag them to the left to where you want them positioned. Hold the Ctrl button and roll the mouse wheel slowly forward or back to the size you want. Or use the + or - buttons. Then right click Desktop again to Refresh which should remember their position.

Try these tips

You don’t have to try them all; just work your way down the list until you find the one that works for you.

Tip 1: Enable Show desktop icons

Make sure you have enabled the “Show desktop icon” feature on Windows 10:

Right-click your desktop, click View, and check Show desktop icons.

Check to see if your desktop icons are back. If not, try Tip 2, below.

Tip 2: Check your desktop icon settings

Right-click your desktop and click Personalize.

Click Themes > Desktop icon settings.

Select the icons you want to show on desktop, then click OK.

Check if your “desktop icons missing” problem is resolved. If not, try Tip 3, below.

Tip 3: Rebuild icon cache

You can also try these steps to rebuild the icon cache:

Run Command Prompt as administrator.

Copy-paste the following commands one at a time and press Enter after each command.

Check if it helps restore your desktop icons. If not, try Tip 4, below.

Tip 4: Perform a system restore

If your desktop icons still don’t show up, you can perform a system restore to return your system to a date when the icons appeared normally on the desktop. Here’s how to perform a system restore to help fix your “desktop icons disappeared in Windows 10” issue:

Type recovery in the Windows search box, then press Enter.

At Recovery, click Open System Restore.

Select Choose a different restore point, and click Next.

Check the box beside Show more restore points. You should see a list of ‘restore points’. These are like backups of your computer, as it was at that particular date and time. Think back to a date when your desktop icons showed up, and select a restore point from that date or slightly earlier (but no later).

Click Next > Finish.

Check to see if your desktop icons are now restored on Windows 10. If not, try Tip 5, below.

Tip 5: Reset your computer

If the steps above didn’t work for you. Resetting your computer is worth a try. It fixed the desktop icon issue for some users.

Click the Start button > the Settings icon.
