You count that as science fiction? I don't. I'm talking, Aliens, space, over the top blade runnes type stuff.

Nicolas "Would it be great to make a science fiction movie without science?" Refn does count it as science fiction. He’s the biggest troll, if he’d do something with aliens there would be probably no alien in it but it would be about them (you know what i mean). He was inspired by Tarkovsky’s Stalker when he was making Valhalla, so this is what he would probably do, something like Stalker. I doubt he will end up making a straight-up science fiction movie. Though, I’m waiting on Barbarella to happen. And The Incal which probably will never happen, oh well.

I would love to see with refn can bring to a science fiction film. with his colors, aliens or something crazy like that would be a dream

He already did a science fiction film, it’s called Valhalla Rising.

Apparently Nic will produce a book of his collection of movie posters, it will be published in France. All Nic can say is, ‘Enjoy sex.’ The book will be available on October 28 in a limited edition of 1500 copies.
