you remind me of my friend bc she's fat and i'm gonna be honest i'm trying really damn hard for her to love her body as it is bc slim doesn't mean healthy or fit (as she saw it) and fat is easily normal, a state of being, mundanely worthy of respect, as well as desirable, delicate, powerful and graceful.

So someone posed a question to me last night.
Why do I associate my images with feederism and in bold red letters.
Short answer is that I don't.
Others do and I do not want to be associated with that specific way of life. I check people's blogs and block them if that's their thing, I have medical conditions that mean weight gain is a symptom, PCOS, alongside almost all my conditions are co-morbilities stemming from PCOS. Which wasn't diagnosed until I was already 34.
I get my body shape is attractive to some people, but it is not a goals body. It is a body under tremendous strain on a daily basis. I have to take upwards of 15 tablets a day, a mixture of prescription and holistic tablets in order to give myself the best chance I can to even be working at 50% of most healthy people.
So I will continue to put my DO NOT INTERACT on my images because while I'm learning and keeping on trying to love my body because it's the only one I'm getting, I don't want someone to fetishize my body, or use it as fatspiration. I want others who live in a body like mine to feel seen, to feel loved, to feel worthy of taking up the space in the world they do because they are deserving of that space.
So while my 4am response was short, I wanted you to realise it's hours later and I'm still thinking "is that what people think?" I will never ick on someone's yum, but I also get to choose if I want to be included in your yum. Consent, even online, matters.
Just in the same way I do not want under 18's, ageless, homophobic, racist people on my blog, I get to choose. You wouldn't publicly question that, so why question my DNI on feederism.
