what did they mean by this

really basic stuff cos i haven't been in the moodiest of moods for art but i wanted to give indie a 70s-ish outfit because kerubim and lou had one and i thought it was SO EVIL that he didn't have one... but i get why since he only showed up for like a few seconds when those two were in that phase

so i really like the dofus series and i think it does a lot of stuff well but i feel like having kerubim go through all that Character Development™ especially for lying to lou, realizing that all of that was bad and then going on to lie to her again with her lost memories felt so forced and bad

like i mean i get they probably wanted them to be endgame but really why have him overcome his lying and gambling addiction only to lie like that again?? god damn. it would be one thing if he just tried to search for her as his normal self without doing this whole thing but with as far as they went to have him do this they should've just let him accept the fact that she's gone and he can't really fix that. would have been at least a good way to show that if you hurt somebody, you should be okay with not always being able to reconnect with them is it that serious? nope. am i gonna complain about it anyways? absolutely
