Disability benefits shouldn’t be tied to the income of a disabled person’s partner/spouse/parent.

DISABILITY BENEFITS SHOULDN’T BE TIED TO THE INCOME OF A DISABLED PERSON’S PARTNER/SPOUSE/PARENT.
This is the straight forward way to deprive a disabled person of their financial freedom and independence and trap them into possible abusive relationships.

Rafah Crossing and Kerem Shalom Crossing have been closed since the Rafah invasion began. The little aid that trickled in kept its starving population alive and hospitals open. Israeli settlers have increasingly attacked aid trucks preventing them from entering the Strip by destroying bags of flour and blocking the streets with stones, all while the Israeli army bombed water pipes and warehouses storing aid.
And now they're doing this
This was an attempt to lynch to a Palestinian because they thought he was bringing food and fuel to a population that's being bombed hundreds of times a day

You don’t have to come out to everyone!! Especially if it puts your safety at risk! And CERTAINLY not for internet clout!! Sometimes it’s okay, even better, to stay in the closet. I think kids are losing sight of that.

Respect to those who have medium and high support needs who need assistance with bodily functions.
Love to those who cannot safely leave their bedrooms or home due to the pandemic and lack of societal support.
Care to those who spend the majority of their life online because this is the only way they can socialize with the outside world
There are so many of us trying to make it day to day. I love you and you're not alone in this.
I love you people who have to be carried, lifted, or escorted in mobility aids to do daily living tasks
I love you people who depend entirely on your cariers and personal aids for every function
I love you people who haven't been able to shower in over a week and therefore have tangled or matted hair and body odour
I love you people who have been wearing the same clothes for over a week
I love you people who dont have the energy to get out of bed to use the bathroom and need to use diapers or a bed pan
I love you people who havent been able to cook their own meal in months
I love you people who have piles of dirty clothes and trash scattered around their room
I love you people who uncontrollably drool on yourself and your property
I love you people who have slowly lost mobility and function over time and are adjusting to their new life

The 2024 Gender Census is now open!

The 11th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th June 2024.
It’s short and easy, about 5 minutes probably.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.
If you think you might have friends and followers who’d be interested, please do reblog this blog post, and share the survey URL by email or at AFK social groups or on other social networks. Every share is extremely helpful - it’s what helped us get 40,000 responses last year.

I’m sorry liberals but there’s a reason why an old school segregationist who loves mass policing and imprisoning Black people, migrants and the poor was attached to a historic first Black President and it’s not because Obama or Biden are great guys who want the liberation of the oppressed. No, they were attached because they both represented the opposite.
By joining a Black activist with a white segregationist, they ensured that the inclusion of people of color into the American Empire didn’t threaten that empire or its ambitions. It’s why Obama expanded the Forever Wars, the drone warfare program, and deported more people than any president before him combined. The Obama-Biden administration was put in place to reaffirm and cement liberal white supremacy in this country, not reject it. Trump was a white backlash to the notion that white supremacy could be expanded. It’s just two dueling brands of racism.
