Hi SR, listening to BDILH with more attention i absolutely believe is a Kaylor song, it's just Taylor saying f*ck everyone i love her. And i think she says "I'm having his baby, no i'm not..." bc it was K who actually had the babies. I don't know but it just doesn't makes sense that hetlors/swifties think it's about a failed PR with MH.
First of all, I LOVE THIS SONG SO DAMN MUCH!
I read a theory from someone else that I totally believe: that she is setting the stage with this song for when she does come out with Karlie. She is saying that she doesn't want people's prayers or for them to judge who she loves. It's her good name to do as she wishes with. She calls those who judge her relationships 'vipers and judgmental creeps'. So the person to fill that currently is MH. Her fans judged her 'relationship' with him harshly. She is saying that is not ok. So if people do that when she says she is with Karlie, they will be the very vipers and creeps she references in her song. It will hopefully give 'those people' pause.
I would credit the person whose theory this is, but I cannot recall. I am sorry! 😞

Um, also . . .
"These chemicals hit me like a white wine"
LIKE a white wine, but NOT a white wine, because the "me" in the song is Karlie and she's not drinking. The "chemicals" are post partum hormones like oxytocin. (The mother child bonding hormone, that is also released in small amounts when you drink wine.)
The whole thing is so funny if you know. Taylor being so loud about it but all anyone can see is "football metaphor, hur dur"
Didn’t know it’s the same hormones, interesting.

"The hospital was a drag, worst sleep that I ever had"
If the theory that The Alchemy is from Karlie's POV is correct, this just makes it even funnier. Because who showed up at the Eras Tour post-partum? Oh, that's right. Karlie!
This line doesn't fit for any of the muses, or for Taylor, but it fits Karlie to a tee. And it's so funny. If you're a mom listening and you look at it through this lens, the line has such a dry humor to it. I can't 😂
Yes! You know I had a similar thought as a mom because the only time I’ve had time sleep at the hospital was when I had my baby. And the sleep was awful.
Karlie coming back to the 1989 era making headlines freshly postpartum - yeah it fits!
What if I told you I'm back?
The hospital was a drag
Worst sleep that I ever had
I circled you on a map
I haven't come around in so long
But I'm coming back so strong

Swifties are hilarious because they clung onto the "not a twin from your dreams" lyric to drag Karlie through the mud but they're suspiciously quiet about the "like I lost my twin" lyric from Down Bad lol
It never has to make sense as long as she never stops entertaining

I like to imagine that Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus is about all the fans that try to speak for her / defend her, but are also the ones to scream slurs when someone suggests she's queer.
If you want to tear my world apart, just say you've always wondered...
Interesting thought! It’s wild how “fans” who “care” about Taylor jump to “defend” her any time someone suggests she’s not straight.

If you could have Taylor explain one of her songs to you, which one would you pick? She has to honestly answer all your questions about it and go through it line by line, telling you her references/inspiration and exactly what everything means.
I’ve thought about this and I keep going back to Coney Island because I’m selfishly curious if it’s about us. I’d love to hear her thoughts on it all even if it has nothing to do with us. I’ve always wondered why choose Coney Island? Is it a way to represent playing games on the outskirts? Like being close to what’s going on in the city but removed from it at the same time? Idk.
There are soooo many songs I’d love to hear her talk about. I can never confidently choose just one but this is the best I’ve got right now haha.

So, the visual for Robin on Spotify is long grass rustling. This is probably a reference to "way to go, tiger" and all the tiger imagery Taylor has been invoking the last few years.
When people think of tigers, their first thoughts are usually of them as hunters, big cats, whatever . . . but one of the most distinctive features of the tiger is its stripes. That's what they're really known for. And those stripes exist as a camoflage mechanism - to allow them to blend into long grass and move through the world unseen.
It's not an accident that the visual Taylor chose to accompany a song about her little tiger, is of grass moving while something invisible passes through. This whole song is just screaming that it's about a child who is hidden in plain sight.
I do use Spotify so I did not know where to find the visual. If someone wants to add it or send the link in I would appreciate it.

One of the things that makes me think we're moving towards a coming-out again:
The sudden invocation of religious imagery on this album, and the sheer amount of references to it. For years, False God was the closest we had to those themes being touched on in any personal way - but The Anthology is FULL of them. I went through it track by track specifically listening out for them, and it was almost comical how heavy-handed she's being. Every single song it's sin and guilt and Christian judgement and Christian allegory 😂
I don't say this to belittle those struggles, or to suggest they haven't been real issues for Taylor. But I don't think that's where her head is at right now, so this sudden uptick of religious references in her music feels strategic. It's a move. And why would she need to establish religious guilt and judgement as something that is such A Big Deal for her and casts a shadow over her entire internal life?
She would if she needed something to point to, to "explain" why she stayed in the closet all this time. Taylor doesn't want to alienate her fans by saying "you were the reason" so this is her fallback. It's an age-old story, one fans can understand, that absolves them of any role in her closeting, and lets them convince themselves they would have supported her all along, if only they'd known.
Wow, this makes a lot of sense to me. Great observation, Anon.
“…let’s them convince themselves they would have supported her all along, if only they’d known.” 🤯
