The Bible says, “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago” (Ephesians 2:10). In other words “we are His work of art.” The psalmist wrote, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous — how well I know it” (Psalm 139:13–14). So why are we here on earth? To fulfill a master plan-A plan unique for each one of us. Even before we were conceived in our mother’s womb we were conceived in the heart of God for this very purpose. It’s incredible, but true.
