Her words still haunt him years later.
Ben looks at the photograph before every performance. His heart felt empty as the love of his life gave up their relationship so he could live his dream.
Anger flowed through his veins at how easily she came to her decision. He would take his rage and perform flawlessly.
Until tonight when Ben found her just off-center in the front row. Time stopped, he forgot how to breathe, and he momentarily fucked up his guitar solo.~~
