A random thought I had at work

Alhaitham approaches Kaveh like a cat (ironically since his Darshan has a bull in its logo).

What I mean is that, cats are pretty independent animals but at the same time very sociable. Alhaitham travels alone and sure doesn't inform Kaveh about where or when he goes. But he also does welcome him in his home, jests with him and all that, right?

We sure did see them in their loud moments.

But i want to think they have some quiet ones too. When Alhaitham reads in one corner, his earpieces next to him. kaveh at his desk, in the same room, sketching his next project, cussing under his nose when he's not satisfied, because he's a perfectionist.

Eventually Kaveh just leaves his workstation. And if he's not back too quickly, Alhaitham follows.

no im literally so normal about it because people always say oohh cynonari akademiya au canon!!!! but. its not. cyno was already a matra when he went to investigate tighnari and they met. that's WAY different. and I really do love that origin story

kavetham is LITERALLY akademiya days au canon. thats like their entire story. their current relationship hinges on the one they had in the akademiya, whatever that friendship could've been like. and it was genuinely a friendship! haithams character stories and seemingly kavehs dialogue in vultur volans support this.

Hank Anderson PSA

Couple things we need to deal with about Hank.

1.) Hank 👏 is 👏 not 👏 fat. 👏

He is BARELY overweight. Hank is 53, 6'2" and 209lbs. His body shape is effected by his age and his drinking and eating habits over the three years since Cole was killed, but he is not fat. Keep in mind he is quick enough on his feet to cut off Rupert and stay JUST behind state of the art technology.

2.) Hank is a police officer who has spend many years working drug crime. He has seem things that would make most grown men vomit and weep. JUST gaining Connor in his life, romanticly or not, is not going to fix him. It will help, but there are going to be nights. Nights where Hank is passed out drunk with his gun. Nights when Hank is drunk and either crying or yelling and nothing Connor says or does will be enough. Nights when Connor has to give him a bath because while Connor was at work or out shopping Hank drank too much and threw up on himself and everything else. Living with an alcoholic is no walk in the park and they do NOT get better overnight.

I try not to post personal stuff here, but my best friend is going through a nasty divorce, and could use some help.

Basically, her soon-to-be-ex-husband mentally and emotionally abused her. He made wild accusations of her cheating on him, having orgies at conventions, and was going through her phone and personal belongings, all because of his paranoia. She herself suffers severe depression, and if you or someone you love does, too, then you can imagine the ups and downs l, and the effect his behavior was having on her.

I got a call from her one morning back in October, which was odd, because at the time she called, she should have been at work. On the other end I heard her hysterically crying, telling him to get away from her while there was a loud banging and incoherent babble muffled by what I later learned to be the bathroom door she was hiding behind in fear. Thankfully, I had a friend who had come in the night before from out of town, and we were able to get to her while her mother called 911. He was then Baker acted and placed in rehab for 72 hours, and we packed up all of her belongings and had her out of there and into what used to be my office in my apartment.

It’s been 7 months since then. She’s lost and found a job, sold personal belongings just to keep her car insurance and cell phone (as well as medical attention to her senior yorkie, Lilo), and has been fighting more abuse from him, even though he’s states away now. This fund is to serve and eventually finalize the divorce process and help her put and end to this once and for all, so she never has to deal with this and him ever again.

We’ve set up donations through PayPal as opposed to YouCaring or GoFundMe. The former does not allow donations that could result in discord (we got the notice that they took down the page an hour ago), and the latter takes too much of the funds donated. (Not that any of this is important, but just covering my bases.)

If you can signal boost or donate, please, please do. We all want this to be over so she can finally get the peace she deserves.

This is literally something I pulled out of my ass in a span of an hour, so don’t expect anything profound or mind-blowing, lol!

A chill swept through the air and Noctis held back a shiver as he crouched, surveying his surroundings. The world turned silver as he counted. One, two, three MTs guarding the Citadel doors, two more flanking each side corridor, and at least one in every hallway up to the main elevator. From there, he could make out a peppering of guards, but they were far too heavily banked on a ground assault. Infiltrating it by air seemed to be the way to go.

He sighed, the world returning to its natural state, and he fiddled with the hook attached to his gauntlet, careful to avoid the tip of his hidden blade as he adjusted the fit. It wouldn’t have been the first time he had accidentally stabbed himself, but the first and second times were more than enough to instill the fear of a third. Standing, he gave one last glance toward the place he once called home before sliding quietly down the slanted roof of an old, nearby church. A pang of sadness settled in the pit of his stomach. It was unbecoming of a prince, no, a king, to abandon his kingdom, but the Brotherhood left him little choice.

Except there are shipwars being carried out by a couple of LuNoct shippers against the LuNyx and Promptis shippers. They are sending anons to a number kf blogs calling them disgusting pedophiles for shipping two 20 year olds, and telling already depressed and suicidal people to go kill themselves because "thats what the chocobros would want".

It really sucks how antis are scaring LITERALLY everyone, even the voice actors, out of the fandom, to the point where Bex was done with everyone's shit, Jeremy's tired of the Klance spam, and Josh had to be told to not talk about ships for his own safety (that's what I heard). In the ff fandom, everyone has such a good time? There's such a good relationship between the fandom and VAs. All four of the main VAs have admitted to liking promptis, hell, the actual MAIN VA in the entire game (1/2)

found a fandom blog that edits the voices of the characters into sexual situations/reblogs art, and you know what he did? He said on twitter that the edits were good and if anyone wanted to follow a nice ol’ promptis smut blog then they should really check it out, and he provided a link to it too. The NSFW lovers lost their shit (in a good way) and the owner of that blog was happy. Know what DIDNT happen? Ship wars, “but the kids!!!111”, bashing the VAs, spreading hate/blackmailing. Smh (2/2)
