He doesn’t usually agree to blind dates. He has an image to keep up (one that Mikey scowls at but it’s still a reputation.) And for Mikey of all people to set him up, it had to mean the girl had a stick up her ass or something. That or Mikey really wanted revenge or something, everyone knew around him that he had a reputation of being a playboy. He’d gotten to the restaurant first, so he’s just hanging out near the waitresses podium, on his phone as he’s looking over a stock price. What he wasn’t expecting was his date was an idol. He immediately recognized her the moment he lifted his head, thanking Mikey internally immediately. “You’re talkin’ to him. You must be my date.” He threw a charming smile.
seolbi recognizes him as soon as he looks at her, and she silently thanks all the gods and reminds herself to buy carina her favorite wine as a thank you. he’s HOT. she tucks a piece of black hair behind her ear, smoothing down her glittery silver dress. “i am!” she chirps, maybe a little too happy for the way that things have turned out. relax, she says to herself, a glimmer lighting up her blue eyes. “i’m seolbi, but i’m sure whoever set you up on this told you that. i think it’s my friend’s boyfriend? or whatever they’re calling themselves.” she laughs softly. “should we go sit? sorry to keep you waiting, i had a schedule and wanted to change afterward.”
