Tbh for a long time I didn’t understand why someone would want to take someone else’s prompt or use the prompt and ideas discussed OOC between you a partner ghosting you.. But with being in a situation where there’s zero effort of communication and the constant toting of being ready to reply but only half assing one response a month if not multiple months of silence in between for one response… Yeah, I kinda understand reposters just a little now. I’m dying to RP this dynamic with the original poster but they’ve made zero effort to show they care about or have passion for the prompt at all despite the mixed signals of said prompt saying they were desperate to rp the dynamic in the first place?? Plus they deleted the prompt so maybe they’re not interested anymore? No idea. I’m still on the fence on doing so.. because I’d rather just communicate with the original prompt mun than to repost but if push comes to shove then why not… The optimist side of me still wants to give some chances though.

Let the optimist speak but at the end of the day, you have to find fulfillment in roleplay. If you want the idea to work for you, by all means, make it work.

@prev oh its nothing that serious I just ghosted them because they weren't that good but we roleplayed a LOT before I finally jumped ship so I feel bad. Now I worry when I post other prompts they'll answer and it'll be awkward

@ the previous anon; Ive stopped seeking a specific character because I think the 1 person I rped with- in multiple chats- wanted to avoid me. If they ever connect again though, or I accidentally connect to their's, my hope is that we can discuss a method to avoid one another to prevent it from happening again. So maybe reach out and confirm if you feel safe to do so?

Alternatively, I refuse to rp with a specific set of characters because they unfortunately cause a trauma response. Might be something to consider if it's like that.

Ever do a little world building, and the other person comes up with such an amazing idea? And you(Me) get so hyped for the concept. But they disconnect after getting two replies in. And you can't use that concept, because you respect the other person and intellectual property. But like..are they ever going to use it!? And its just probably one of many concepts that's just on their backburner..I'm so sad it didn't work out. Hope they get many rp's and connects though. QnQ

Use the concept anyway. Not to be mean but please if you enjoy the concept, find someone who will enjoy it with you.

Been roleplaying on dreambubble for the past two days and I haven’t felt joy like this in months wtf

had a partner that used to give me pretty constant replies but it died off recently, no worries, people get busy or just not into rps anymore.

though i was reading through our ooc again and realised that whilst we both had specific aspects/scenes/etc that we wanted, they just sort of… speed-ran to their one, we played it out, and now that its 'done', they've gone quiet.

both could've easily been done at the same time because they intersected pretty well, but re-reading it now i see that their rp actions full on cut mine off before i was even done and moved to theirs asap.

i was a little pissed at the time honestly because i assumed we'd return to it but we never did, and honestly i don't think we ever will.

I have a lot of ideas for this rp Im in and want to share them with my partner bc it would get us toward the lightheartedness they're lookin for but Im afraid that if I reach out now it might scare 'em off because its been a couple weeks since the last reply, the chat itself isnt even a month old, and I dont want it to seem like Im bumping for a response cause no I just want to throw potential plot at them.

It honestly wouldn’t hurt tbh, just make sure you tell them you have lots of ideas and it doesn’t mean you want to rush their reply
