You get just a glimpse of it.
One second is there, the next it isn't. You turn when you hear the ground shake under your feet and a fog surrounding you.
It takes you a second to realize that's not fog -- it's steam. Warm, almost unbearably so.
Volcanion shares a quick glance with you, and then walks in the steam, now far too thick to see through.
Wonder if you'll ever see it again.

They look like a bunc hof really nice friends! They chirp and mutters to eachother, similarly to a bunch of high school friends gossiping to one another.
One of them notices you and gently bumps her roses on her friends' sides, pointing at you.
You're quite sure you hear them giggle as they walk past you.

You found her alone.
There were many footprints on the ground, then they started being less and less visible. At the end, only one pair remained, separated by the rest.
Alone, likely by her own choice, she slept on a small patch of grass, a particularly big, scarred tail moving nervously. Her eyes were open - or, at least, gave the illusion they were, but her small breath made you sure that you could approach with no problem.
She was inside your Pokèball before she could even notice your presence.

The end of your rod moves around, back and forth.
Something pulls you in, as relaxed as it could be. He barely puts up a fight as you start reeling it in, if not for some occasional splashes here and there.
Only when you see his horn, he attacks.
He does so almost annoyed, not really putting effort to aim, and yet you barely dodge a Super sonic directed to your head.
A fighter! A quite uninterested one, but a fighter anyway! Hopefully some training will teach him to actually fight properly!

It rushed away as soon as you noticed it, hiding under a big pile of sand, yet kept his eyes on you.
Maybe you approached him, making him run away once more, but everytime he moves away he still looks at you.
Or, maybe... at your bag? He must've smelled something nice coming from there, and as soon as you dare pulling it out, offering a piece of bread to him, he tentatively moves closer to have a bite.
