Yeah. I actually got the idea from that time I said that I thought Pikachu was overrated and Eevee was underrated, and you had mentioned that there were people who thought the opposite because of Eevee's internet popularity.
Tbh this comic is also kind of me reflecting on my "Pikachu is overrated" stance. I honestly want to say that Pikachu and Eevee are on equal grounds now, they're both extremely popular and iconic. So I liked the idea of doing the opposite of It Sucks to be Weegee by making Eevee a little less sympathetic (I still love Eevee more than Pikachu, though.)
Plus, having one (or two, perhaps) of Eevee's friends give him a wake-up call would be pretty good character development, though I won't use that anytime soon as there's only 12 comics right now. That'll be for later down the line.
Also, I already introduced Cremis from PalWorld into the comic, and I REALLY want to have Eevee crush on her lol. That would be adorable.
You know how I had mentioned a while back that I was doing a comic series named "It Ain't Easy Being Eevee"?
I decided to do a new page that's sort of like a character reflection.
You see, the thing about this is, Pikachu's actually correct: Eevee really DOES have it better than he thinks, maybe he even has it better than Pikachu.
But Eevee has major flaws; he resents Pikachu over something REALLY small (popularity,) which in turn, makes him tune out Pikachu. Eevee is too stubborn to realize that he's better than he thinks, because he's too focused on resenting Pikachu to actually stop and think "do I really have it as bad as I think I do?" He also refuses to listen and acknowledge his faults.
While the comic is inspired by It Sucks to be Weegee (which focused on Luigi's inferiority complex because he's always in Mario's shadow,) the main characters are actually foils to each other;
Luigi was always down in the dumps because he didn't resent Mario, but rather that he was "player two" and never got the same popularity Mario did (the comic was made a long time ago, specifically before and during the whole "Year of Luigi" thing.) But at the end of the comic's run, he realized that there ARE people that DO look up to him. He got closure.
Eevee, however, isn't as sympathetic, because he's basically deluded himself into thinking that he's overshadowed by Pikachu, and he's always bitter and cold to him, and never stops to realize how good he actually has it. He's also very stubborn, so he refuses to see that he really has no reason to resent Pikachu.
I actually will admit that one of Eevee's friends (probably Flareon) will eventually get tired of Eevee complaining and bluntly tell Eevee how good he actually has it.
(It probably WILL be Flareon that'll tell him, cause honestly, I think HE has it worse, having to deal with "no moves" this and "False Prophet" that. So he'd be the right kind of person to give Eevee a wake-up call when I decide to end the comic and have Eevee realize his life is better than he thinks.)
I think that is a really cool concept actually!!!

So last night I found out that originally, in the Spongebob episode "Jellyfish Hunter," the "Moar Krabs" image actually had two more moar forms that would've been used afterwards, so Moar Krabs would've appeared 3 times in a row with different forms. The two images below are fan restorations of what they would've looked like:
Knowing that Moar Krabs would've had 3 different forms honestly makes me wish they were used in the final version of the episode lol
The restorations were made by a Youtuber known as CRM09ify, and were uploaded on a channel named MaximizedAnimation.

Now I'm imagining that Jed decides to try and find out, so he takes Dill's hat off...
And finds that Dill just wears the same hat under his hat. Then Jed takes the other hat off of Dill to reveal the same hat under that hat, and it just goes on until Jed gives up lol

So I've been feeling a little bad about not updating Eevee World for months, last night I added a new page, and I changed the webcomic avatar this morning!
I kinda want to focus more on EVW now, to make up for the comic's inactivity. I'm thinking of having some comics become story arcs or something, so comic #14 will pick up from where #13 left off, and I'll create a story from there.
I'm planning on updating Eevee World: Another Story as well!
