I really think that there should be a Liberty’s Kids reboot. There are so many loose ends:
Did James and Sarah get married? (most important)
Did James get his newspaper?
What about the fight for ratification?
What were the first years of Washington’s presidency like?
What happened to Henri? Did he go back to France and get involved in the French Revolution?
Did Moses get his school?
What about the War of 1812?
Seriously, though, PBS let’s do this thing. Who else wants a reboot?

I started watching Liberty’s Kids when it started airing in 2002, eighteen fucking years ago. This summer, Hamilfilm got me back into LK so I pulled out my DVDs and am rewatching the series (I don’t think I’ve rewatched it in its entirety since high school — and it’s so wild to watch this show as an adult). But also James/Sarah was probably my first ship ever and now I’m desperate for more ship content! 😭😭 especially fic! There’s so little of it!

Sarah is a really awesome character; she’s opinionated but open-minded and wants what’s best for everyone. She’s got a strong sense of right and wrong, and yet she gets tangled up in some tricky situations that demand you to question everything. I just always liked her a lot.
