Mundane things that feel like TMA entities
The Buried - When you cover your entire body in blankets but have to poke your head out a few minutes later bc you can't breathe.
The Corruption - Being anxious about opening a tupperware from the back of the fridge, the contents of which have probably been rotting in there for months.
The Dark - When you turn off the lights in a room and walk just a bit faster than normal back into the light.
The Desolation - Burning paper, tossing something into a bonfire just to burn it.
The End - Trying not to think about how the elderly people you know won't be around in a while.
The Extinction - Anxiety about not recycling a singular plastic bottle.
The Eye - Looking at yourself in those little surveillance monitors that show customers in a store what the cameras are seeing.
The Hunt - Playing tag or any other chasing/being chased game.
The Flesh - Picking at your skin, in any way.
The Lonely - Driving at night through the suburbs.
The Slaughter - Killing any sort of bug, stomping on ants just because.
The Spiral - Losing something small, upturning everything around you, only to find the thing in a pocket or a place you don't remember putting it.
The Stranger - Not liking your voice in recordings because it sounds different from how you usually hear it.
The Vast - Looking out the window on an airplane, watching the world fade away beneath the clouds.
The Web - Going through a bureaucratic procedure like renewing a passport or filling out banking paperwork.

Hey btw, here's a piece of life advice:
If you know what you'd have to do to solve a problem, but you just don't want to do it, your main problem isn't the problem itself. Your problem is figuring out how to get yourself to do the solution.
If your problem is not eating enough vegetables, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make vegetables stop being yucky". If your problem is not getting enough exercise, the problem you should be solving is "how do I make exercise stop sucking ass". You're not supposed to just be doing things that are awful and suck all the time forever, you're supposed to figure out how to make it stop being so awful all the time.
I used to hate wearing sunscreen because it's sticky and slimy and disgusting and it feels bad and it smells bad, so I neglected to wear it even if I needed to. Then I found one that isn't like that, and doesn't smell and feel gross. Problem solved.
There is no correct way to live that's just supposed to suck and feel bad all the time. You're allowed to figure out how to make it not suck so bad.

Head cannons of what the Vees are like when drunk?
Hellaverse Headcanon Requests - ACCEPTING
OH boy, I think about this kind of thing entirely too much. Please do keep in mind this is how I write them, and the Vox and Vel I write are both very, very headcanon based and not really canon compliant.
Valentino is an alcoholic and has been one since he was alive. He is never hard to push to drink and is commonly seen with some kind of vodka-based martini in hand. He prefers the fruity, boozy drinks that are so sweet he doesn't have to taste the alcohol. The sweeter the better, and if it's chocolate it's already gone. He's a fan of cosmopolitans, as well.
When he's drunk, he has two modes. He is either incredibly handsy, bubbly, and tactile--He wants to touch and be touched. There is a Valentino that can drink and still fuck, and then there is a drunk Valentino, who whiskey dicks very badly. He is very cuddly when he's like this, though, and insists that he use the nearest amenable biped as a chair/bed. He is very affectionate.
Or, the other option is a moody drunk Valentino. Either he was angry or sad when he started drinking to cope with his upset, and it only makes that worse. He is either depressed enough to drink himself to respawn or combative and unreasonable.
Vox doesn't get drunk very often. When he drinks, it's usually a whiskey or two and then he'll stop. He doesn't like feeling out of control of his own body and so he will actively seek to get a buzz and nothing stronger.
However, he cannot say 'no' to a gin and vermouth (Correct) martini, and he will down these without noticing that he has had that much. He gets giggly, giddy, and grandiose. He starts believing he can do things that he normally would know he needs to really work with to make work. He gets excited and begins projects he abandons upon sobering up.
Velvette starts off giggly and will guffaw and laugh openly at things that aren't always funny. She likes to sketch when she's drinking, a habit she passed on to Val, and will usually sit fairly quietly aside from this, focused on her task.
However, the more she drinks the less put together she becomes, and she always ends up naked after too many drinks. Her drink of choice is a black widow, but she'll drink most vodka-tinis and anything with lemonade in it.
