Peter and Tony and/or Strange gets dumped into some alt Universe (Gotham, alternate earth, etc) and are initially separated. During that time Peter goes all “well my dad…” on every person he meets, somehow creating this rumour through misunderstandings that Tony and/or Strange are eldritch gods or some form of higher being. In the meantime Tony and/or Strange find themselves in different situations that ends up reinforcing said rumours as they panic and try to find the kid.

current thoughts are of intern peter au , nobody knows he’s spider-man and he doesn’t directly work with tony BUT he does work on a lot of stark tech and practically develops the stuff but it goes uncredited because the higher ups are the ones meant to be working on it. he’s completely fine with this— interning here has been a dream come true and spider-man takes most of his free time up anyways, he doesn’t have time to be upset.
i just think that it’s not practical to believe that stark industries has always been COMPLETELY without corruption, big corporations are always filled with ego fueled bosses and managers and stark industries isn’t any different, the only difference is when pepper or tony find out about it they put in the work to resolve it.
pepper dragging tony to a meeting, some presentation of his teams latest product— they’ve been trying to focus on sustainability. ten minutes in and tony knows that these guys have no idea what they’re talking about, the product itself was great— but ask a question about the calculations or future advancements and it’s quiet.
cue tony telling friday to find and call up whoever worked on the project, in comes a really concerned and kind of sweaty peter parker ( he just barley made it to the internship on time. )
that’s all i got sorry the rest is in my brain rn

Tony can’t judge him for adopting children
Tony: Peter, why are there so many spiders in your room? Just because you’re part spider it doesn’t mean you don’t have to clean your room, I’m going to kill them.
Peter: No, these are my children!
Tony: Like…literally?
Peter: Adopted! I saved them from a burning building last week and know they’re mine.
Tony: Last week, wasn’t that the time you laid in the Med-Bay with second degree burns and a smoke poisoning, because you wouldn’t leave a burning building for reason you wouldn’t tell me?
Peter: Uh, I’ve gotta go

One hc that i found that broke me is the reasoning for why Tony doesnt like being handed things.
I wish i could remember the person who posted this originally but i cant so if anyone knows them tag them or link their post
But it went that Tony doesnt like being handed things because as a kid, he would help Howard in the lab and Howard would hand him hot, sharp, or just generally harmful things and have him hold them until Howard needed them
And I think about this so much, like not many hcs that i see stick with me that hard but this one did and i think about it in every single irondad fic that i read/write because theres no way that this doesnt affect how he works with Peter in the lab.
For example, Tony never tries to make Peter even touch anything that could easily hurt his hands and insists that Tony works with everything burning hot, super sharp, ect
Or if you want to take it to the extreme, Tony doesn’t ever hand things to Peter directly, instead makes sure that Peter absolutely makes the choice for himself to touch anything in the lab. Even if Peter specifically asks for a part, Tony sets it down right next to him instead of directly in his hands.

imagine peter doesn’t know what to get mister stark as a gift from his Europe trip with his class. so he gets a ton of cheap little things.
Tony wearing 30 beaded bracelets, holding six mini figurines, wearing a shirt with misspelled words, crying.
“He got me trinkets! Look, Rhodes, the kid got me trinkets!”

Irondad fic ideas #130
You know that trope where SI employees call Peter "Stark Jr."?
Fic where Tony learns about this and loves it. One night, at one of their weekly Ironfam dinners, he gleefully brags about it in front of May
In retaliation, May says to Tony, "Okay, Parker Sr."
No angst miscommunications, just hilarity. Everyone knows this is about the honor of being included in each other's families

Irondad fic ideas #155
Tony can be... a bit overbearing with his helicopter parent tendencies. To combat this, Peter sets up a small protocol with FRIDAY.
Any time Tony wants to do something paranoid or invasive, FRIDAY is to send him a helpful article first, with titles like "Excessive Surveillance Can Harm Adolescent Development, Study Finds" and "Why Teens Need Privacy From Their Parents"
Peter leaves the choice of articles up to FRIDAY, trusting her to send ones that fit the situation.
While this protocol does get Tony to reconsider some of his more... extreme impractical requests, in most cases it fails to change his mind. Being hands-off about Peter's safety is not something he can do -- not when he knows the kinds of dangers this particular kid could face.
He's grateful for the insight that the protocol has given him, though. So instead of removing it, he decides to add to it. He asks FRIDAY to make it a two-way street. Now, whenever Peter complains about one of Tony's safety protocols, FRIDAY will send an article to help him understand
However, Tony doesn't anticipate the kinds of articles FRIDAY will choose. While she continues to send Tony studies and editorials, to Peter she sends news reports from Tony's past
Peter's mad that Tony has put trackers in everything he owns? -- "Tony Stark Still Missing: Inside Month Three of the Harrowing Search"
Peter hates the constant health monitoring that FRIDAY does when he's in the tower? -- "Death Wish or Death Sentence? Stark Behavior Tied to Secret Illness that Almost Cost Him His Life"
It goes on and on. For every seemingly insane overreach, there's a story, an experience Tony is trying to protect Peter from.
They both still disagree about how much protection is too much, but at least they understand each other better now

I need an au where foggy is a famous hockey player and matt is the team’s lawyer
They hook up in the locker rooms
Eventually matt gets a little bit too hurt when hes out as daredevil , but forgets about it in the heat of the moment. Until Foggy has their shirts off and is suddenly raging about who touched him, who laid a hand on him?
Matt has never felt so nervous but at the same time so cared for.

I’m on episode 19 of Supernatural, and I have a conundrum. Usually, I get really excited about a show when it has queer representation that I enjoy, but I haven’t gotten to a part of the show where there’s any queer representation within the main cast. I don’t ship Dean and Sam together so that isn’t it. I know next to nothing about Castiel so I’m not just preemptively excited about him. The only explanation is that I really like their dynamics, which I do, but I’ve only gotten this excited over queer relationships. Maybe it’s just how much they obviously care about each other, but it’s so entertaining. Honestly it feels like a platonic Crowley/Aziraphale situation. Like, they’ve always cared about each other and always will but don’t know how to express themselves. They even have a platonic “breakup” when Sam meets Meg! They don’t act like they’re in a relationship that isn’t platonic and familial, so I don’t get why my brain is screaming “gay” at me, but the vibes are vibing and that’s what I’m getting. Again, I don’t ship them, that’s gross, but I do want them to cuddle their feelings out. They are the living embodiments of the tag “(Character) Needs a Hug.”

People always forget that he literally lied to the government so many times. Every time he got rejected from the army? He signed up again with a new name.
Peter: *crying*
Tony: what’s wrong??
Peter: I just realized Mr. Rogers can’t build legos
Steve: why can’t I?
Tony: yeah why can’t he???
Peter, sobbing: BECAUSE THE AGE RANGE ON THE BOX SAYS 4-99 AND HES 105
Tony:
Steve:
Steve: *clicks legos together seriously* it’s ok. I’ve done more illegal things

Peter would argue that Spider-Man is the worst Avenger with a straight face. Because he truly believes that.
Peter: Iron Man is the coolest Avenger.
Flash: God, Parker. You always have such horrible taste. The coolest Avenger is obviously Spider-Man. What’s wrong with you?
Peter:
Peter: I couldn’t even begin to respond to that right now.
