Do you think Ben has a girlfriend or a boyfriend or is he lying to anyone?

I’ve seen people talking about Ben potentially hiding the fact that he’s gay and pretending to have a girlfriend as well as the counter argument that it wouldn’t make sense for him to hide it from the camp fam especially Yaz knowing that they (and especially her) would accept him, but I would keep this in mind, Ben’s biggest struggle in JWCC is his sense of personal identity. He’s never really felt secure in it; we see this especially when they get on mantahcorp island and he feels as if he’s reverted back to his old self rather than the hammed up island man persona he was playing up on nublar. We do see he eventually comes to terms with being “Ben”, but obviously those problems could’ve manifested in other ways such as struggling with his sexuality (please get this kid a therapist). So while yes, he knows the camp fam would accept him if he was gay, it’s more of a struggle within himself rather than a fear of getting rejected.

Alright, I really only see two options for the truth about Ben’s girlfriend:

1: She’s completely fake. The girlfriend does not exist. Ben made her up.

2: The girlfriend is real. But the “girlfriend” is actually a boyfriend. Ben is just too scared to come out.

When Ben first mentions the girlfriend, it definitely seems like she’s fake. But when he’s talking with Yaz later, he definitely does seem more genuine. I’m not quite sure which one is true.

I think that in season 2 of Chaos Theory Bobi Nublar is going to make a comeback because if you remember it's him who makes a phone call and says "we have a problem" so I think That he will be on the boat or that we will even see him b, maybe he will try to hurt Sammy and Ben in particular, yes bar what I think that after a while they will to be seen on the boat, we don't even know how long the journey will last

So to begin with i loved Chaos Theory, on the other hand i have a theory about Ben' s so-called "girlfriend".

I' m sorry but after the 5 Season of Camp cretaceous +Chaos theory, i think we can all agree that Ben is gay.

The first time he talked about histoire "girlfriend" i think we all trought it was Fake , but the second timehe talked about it with Yas , it seemed much more real and sincere ,and then he talked about it a second time so i think there is some truth to it.

Si here i am , i think that Ben doesn' t have a girlfriend but a boyfiend.

For the question "Why did Ben lie about it being a girl ?" I think Ben may have a bit of homophobia , maybe from his parents or people at the university , which might explain why he took a break.

In episode 2 when the Flashback took place with Brooklyne , he said he needs to take a breather. You see what i mean.

I think we might be the truth in season 2
