Rowan was...emotional to say the least after giving birth and when her husband found her on the floor of the kitchen in tears she felt like an idiot but also felt it justified as the other wiped off her face asking her to explain the situation to him. "I was feeding him lunch you know and he latched real well but then after a minute or two he turned his whole head away from me and like rolled his eyes." The tears came down even harder as she started talking about it, "And I know he's not even a month old but I still feel like it was just uncalled for, I mean I'm just trying to feed him. Realistically I know its all fucked up shit going on in my own body and I'm taking it personally."

"I better not pull something like that again?" Rowan ask pressing her own finger to her chest with a scoff directed at her husband, "You have a lot of damn nerve, Labonair." She only ever used his sire name when she was angry but holding back on cursing him out. "I was where I was supposed to be, wasn't I? But where the hell were you?" It was a low blow and not one she thought of delivering till it came out of her mouth. "I needed you, your family needed you and what were doing? Cause it wasn't just you who lost, Danny. I lost my daughter too, I lost my spouse too. You think I don't feel just as protective of it all as you do? Cause if so you're a fucking moron, cause I love you and our family more than anything else."

Sky - What is your favorite time of the day?

Early mornings, just when the sun is starting to peak over the horizon. Watching the whole world around me just start wake up and shake off the doziness of the night. Even if I'm only up that early because of the baby at least I can savior that one cup of coffee i can have till he is off the tit.

Being unable to get through to Rowan when the phone lines were finally back up once more had sent an overwhelming amount of worry soaring through the male as hi feet carried him as fast as they could to the hospital where he had been headed to meet up with her for the last check up before the baby’s due date when shit had hit the fan. Bursting through the hospital doors, frantic green hues glanced around at the wreckage and carnage as he waved in and around the injured and deceased in search of his wife, frantically calling out her name before a hand landed against his arm and he turned in a heat of distress shoving the other’s hand away from him as the other told him to calm down. “Calm down,” he questioned with a scoff. “My wife was here before all this shit for a final appointment before our baby was due and I can’t get a hold of her. Don’t you tell me to fucking calm down.”

The labor was long and painful, while she was in short glad that the baby was well enough to be left for a natural birth she was hating the fact that she was still alone in it as the terrible pains washed over her quicker and quicker as the sun rose. With the last contraction Rowan felt like she might tear something as a nurse told her to breathe, “Shut your whore mouth!” The she-wolf screams at the woman, as if breathing wasn’t something she was thinking of doing, like she’d just forget that part. Rather than getting mouthy back the nurse must have experienced plenty of bad mouthed expecting mothers. “You’re gonna need to start pushing Mrs. Labonair.” The doctor between her legs finally pokes her head up to speak to Rowan’s face. Reluctant but already having been given the talk about fighting it endangering the baby she sat up pushing, the strain causing a vein to pop in her forehead before she let a blood curling scream out that seemed to echo through the halls.

“I don’t think your little one’s all that concerned about the date,” Daisy offered softly.  “I don’t think there’s anything we can do now but see what they decide, because if they want out in the world right now we can’t stop them.”  A doctor could halt labor, maybe, but the odds of finding one of those amidst the chaos was less likely than a triple lightning strike.  “I know Dan’s strong - just like you, just like your baby.  He’ll get here as soon as he can, and in the meantime we’ve got to look after you two.  I know this isn’t ideal, I know there’s monsters everywhere, but right now we can’t focus on that.  Right now we focus on having this baby.”

Rowan clenches her teeth, “That is all real bullshit, Days.” While she understood that it was all too true, she was stubborn enough to fight against the facts of life and childbirth. If this baby wanted to come now there wasn’t much she could do but she’d be god damned if she’d admit that. “Danny’s gonna get a broken nose the second I land eyes on him.” She admits just as sharp pain over takes her body and she pants trying to gain composure over herself.

the screams and sounds of chaos made her run into the hospital. she had no idea what was going on, but it was clear something was deadly wrong in that hospital. her fight and flight instinct went into override. the question that remained was whether she was running towards or away from whatever was lurking the halls causing mayhem. everything was a blur and only the pain of her body slamming into another made her focus. she grabbed her head to steady herself. her eyes landed on the creature before them. was it shock or fear that she felt rushed through her body. her hand found the others quickly. “ run. “ she ordered. already pulling herself up and attempting to pull the other with her.

Rowan felt a flash rage as the person who ran into her grabbed at her telling her to run, “Are you fucking stupid, a coward or a little bit of both?” She snaps at the other as she wraps an arm around her large belly, she wasn’t due for another month but as she fell she felt a sharp pain in her belly and she could only fold over from the pain as she groaned and tried to clench her teeth together to ride it out. “Don’t you fucking touch me.” She pulls her hand away from the other, looking at the monster down the hall as it ripped into a nurse who screamed in pain. There wasn’t anything Rowan could do for her, looking back at the room she had just walked out of she pushed her body through the doorway taking advantage of the distraction. Still unable to pull herself to her feet just yet.

Noelle didn’t envy Rowan, the circumstances of which she was about to give birth in were less than ideal, (understatement of the year), but the witch would do everything in her power to ensure that both Rowan and her baby came out of this unscathed. “Babies aren’t much known for their timing” she murmured unsteadily, continuing to attempt leading Rowan to a safer area. As Rowan began to spiral, Noelle shook her head within protest, tightening her grasp around the other as she seemed to have a contraction. “They work on their own timescale, nursery’s and names aside, but that isn’t going to matter when they’re here, safe and sound.” Just as the door closed, did the clawed creature attempt to get in, the sound of its claws against the doorway unnerving as Noelle turned towards it with a breathless gasp as Rowan stumbled backwards. “Ventus” she hissed, creating a torrent of wind that forced the creature backwards, before flicking her wrist and inflicting agony upon it, as it screeched with discomfort. It began to stumble backwards, clearly rearing itself up to strike again, despite being gravely wounded. Noelle slammed the door shut, before sealing it with an incantation. 

With a deep breath as she attempted to steady herself, she hurried to the supply cupboards in  search of sterile gloves. “We can slow the labour down, but we can’t stop it. We could buy an extra day, maybe two – but without moving you to a birthing suite, I won’t have the right equipment to monitor the baby. ” The witch continued cleaning herself up, ensuring that the area would be sterile before returning to Rowan’s side as she reached for the woman’s hand to help assisting her up onto a gurney that somebody before them had clearly attempted to use as a barricade. “It’s gonna be okay.”

Rowan had given birth in the middle of a swamp, in a small little shack with only other woman who had given birth and had minimal training in midwifery. She had no fancy hospital, no drugs and it had gone wonderfully. Andrea was born healthy and happy, Rowan handled the pain just as well as thousands upon millions of woman before her but this was something different. She was surrounded by modern medicine, she had a trained doctor with her and yet she was also surrounded by danger and monsters that she couldn’t understand. An almost bitter laugh came from the she-wolf, “Safe and fucking sound, have you looked around doc?” She asks with a manic sort of laugh to keep herself from crying in the circumstances, which wasn’t too far off between the emotional turmoil and hormones. 

While Rowan would usually find herself in great discomfort to be alone with a witch she was in this moment grateful to have one around when the monster was trying to break into the room and kill them both. She could put aside her discomfort for the safety of her baby, that was for sure. She had enhanced strength but it wasn’t enough to fight that damn thing, not with her belly the size it was likely to drag her speed down too much to get out of the way of those claws. Swallowing and trying to focus on the witch’s words rather than the threat that lurked outside, “Will that put the baby at risk?” She asks with deep breaths getting herself on the gurney with the help of the doctor. “Delaying the birth.” She goes on to elaborate incase it wasn’t clear enough. “I can’t lose the baby.” She more so wouldn’t, as a mother it was her job to ensure her children’s safety.

Rosalie’s gaze moved to the womans stomach before she peaked out of the the small window in the door checking if any more of those creatures were coming but she didn’t see anything. Rosalie once wanted a big family and she almost had it but it didn’t work out how she had planned. Sometimes she hated her immortality for the fact that she’d never carry babies of her own, it broke her heart but she was also fearful of death. “Do you feel ok? Pregnancy wise?” she wanted to make sure that the woman was alright and that the baby was alright. Rosalie grabbed her phone and tried to make a call and of course the phones weren’t working and she sighed before gazing at the woman. 

“Do you know what the hell are these things?” she questioned before walking towards the woman and she pulled a bottle of water out of the backpack she found and the water came from a vending machine she broke to grab supplies, she reached the water bottle out to the woman. 

“Here you need to stay hydrated, are you hungry? I have some snacks.”

Rowan gave the woman a look, “Pregnancy wise? Are you asking me if my baby is on the way or if its dead?” Rowan asks harshly, feeling defensive of the pregnancy as she died once with this baby in her womb, was the world really so against it coming out into it? She leans against the wall to bring herself to her feet keeping a protective hand on her large belly, “A fall isn’t going to take this baby from me.” She wasn’t about to allow that, she’d destroy the whole hospital and everyone in it before she had to deal with that loss. 

“Are you kidding me?” Rowan scoffs shaking her head, “I wouldn’t be in the middle of this shit if I knew anything about these things.” She would have kept her happy ass right at home, bothering Danny about moving the furniture in the nursey around yet again cause it just didn’t ‘feel homey enough’ for her. Looking at the water bottle Rowan shook her head, “I pee enough, I don’t need any help.” The last thing she needed right now was the baby kicking her full bladder while she was on high alert. “The only thing I need is to get out of here alive and find my husband just as alive.”

While visiting Avery, Hayley figured it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make sure way to the OB wing to make sure that everything was okay with the baby and the return of her supernatural powers; of course she couldn’t tell them that. Hayley couldn’t help but roll her eyes as she heard a commotion outside, assuming it was someone making a scene. It wasn’t an almost inhuman screech rang through the halls that Hayley poked her head out of the room and her eyes set on whatever thing was roaming the halls. She also saw her mother not too far away from her, her back towards Hayley’s room. She instinctively swung the door open, speeding towards her mother but couldn’t get to her before she had hit the floor. “Watch where you’re going, jackass! This isn’t the place to be an idiot.” she called after the person as they kept running. “Mom! Are you okay? We have to get you out of here.”

Rowan had wrapped her arms around her belly as she went down an instinct that no mother would likely be able to stop herself from doing. Though that hadn’t stopped the sharp pain that ran through her belly and caused the she-wolf to groan as her daughter showed up at her side. “The hospital is being overrun.” Rowan knew these sounds of panic, the sounds of people fleeing for their lives, it was a nightmare they saw their pack face. “What would be doing this?” She gave her daughter a questioning look, she had been out in the world more than Rowan had before her death. She was in line with some of the oldest creatures that walked the earth, perhaps she knew. Trying to get to her feet, Rowan held her belly and let out a pained groan leaning on the wall.

As a mother herself, there was no mistaking the cause of the water that splashed on the hospital floor between them, and Daisy’s eye went wide.  “It looks like your little one has a sense of timing.  It’s going to be okay, I promise.”  Daisy guided her to the bed and got her laying down before locking the door and shoving a chair under the handle.  “It’s just us in here, Rowan.  No one else, okay?  No monsters, no mobs, just us mothers.  If your baby really wants to be born now, we’ll keep them safe.”  She’d put herself between anything that wanted to harm them, and she was at least knowledgeable enough to help the baby along.

Rowan could only shake her head, “No, no, its too soon.” She assured the other with a sense of panic in her eyes. “I still have a month, the baby isn’t due for another month.” She kept repeating as if maybe it just wasn’t sinking in to Daisy and even to the baby itself. Being ushered over to the bed to lay down Rowan was still verbally protesting the arrival of the baby, “I can’t do this, I don’t have Danny here. I don’t even know where Danny is, the baby can’t be born in the middle of a shit show.” It was bad enough that Hayley was born just before the start of a civil war between their people. “What if something happens? Danny can’t handle himself alone.”

Noelle had done her best to lead Rowan as far away from the midst of the chaos as possible, but her efforts appeared in vain as there seemed to be no escaping it. People were being cornered by this creatures, hunted by them and every which way Rowan and Noelle turned, were they faced with these mythical beasts. As she continued to lead the way, Noelle was clearing the path with magic to the best of her ability and as Rowan began to slow within her agony, Noelle knew that they had to find somewhere to retreat to. With her key card enclosed between her bloodied digits, she began to lead the wolf towards the pharmacy, knowing that as long as the power didn’t fail, they would at least be safely locked away. “This baby just has a sense of adventure. Wants to know what all the fuss is about” she retorted as her grasp around the woman tightened. “ It going to be okay, we’re almost there.” As quickly as she possibly could, she unlocked the pharmacy door, pushing it open with her hip and began leading Rowan inside. Unbeknownst to her however, they were being stalked by one of the creatures.

The sharp pain Rowan was feeling made walking difficult, she tried to breath through the pain like she was once taught years ago when she was first pregnant with Andrea. But this time was different, so much different as the pain was like nothing she remembered it neared the pain of shifting on a full moon. She didn’t know which was distracted her more the insane creatures that seemed to be around every corner or the pain with every step she was forced to take. The wet jeans she was wearing felt gross against her skin that was something she tried to focus on instead of the constant dread of the possibility that she could be loosing her baby this evening. “This baby needs to mind its own damn business and stay where it is!” Rowan growls back at the doctor as she grabs her arm tighter as a wave of pain hits her like a stack of bricks. “This baby can’t be coming, I still have another month to go. The damn nursery still isn’t even done, never mind goddamn names being put aside.” Her mind flooded with the reasons why she couldn’t have the baby today as she tried to find somewhere to set herself down. Before the door behind them shut closed however a long clawed hand wraps around the door, claws cutting into the metal of the door as it hisses with its forked tongue. “Holy shit, what the fuck is that?” Rowan holding her belly quickly takes steps back bumping into the counter.

Daisy didn’t think twice about throwing herself between the crowd in the hallway and the woman who’d been knocked down by those same panicked people; she couldn’t afford to stop that long.  She knew all too well the fear and concerns that came with being pregnant, and it was almost an instinct to protect another mother.  Only when the worst of the stampede had passed did she risk moving, pulling the woman gently to her feet and pushing her back into the room, closing the door behind them and drawing the blinds.  Whatever the creature was, it was almost on top of them, and they couldn’t risk its notice.  “I’ve got you,” she promised in a whisper.  “It’s not going to hurt you.”

Rowan wasn’t the weepy type but when her baby’s life was in danger and there wasn’t much she could do in the way of keeping ti safe she felt tears prickle in her eyes, she wanted her husband and she felt weak just thinking it but Danny always made things better. When hands reached for her she half expected that maybe it was him but seeing Daisy’s face instead while slightly disappointed she was glad it was someone she knew. Walking back into the room with Daisy Rowan buckled over in pain, “Ugh!” She held onto her belly in discomfort, when there was a splash of water coming from between her legs. “No, no, no, no.” Rowan shakes her head muttering in a panic.

Rosalie was extremally glad her supernatural abilities had come back because now there were this huge creatures out here hurting people and she’d be damned if she allowed that to happen or allow them to not tell her where the hell her niece was. She might not be completely welcome into this family but she would be damned if anyone hurt them. When she turned the corner she noticed the person running away from the creature and the douchebag ran straight into a woman who was pregnant and then Rosalie noticed the creature following after the man. She quickly looks around finding a scalpel and using her speed to take off, she jumped up into the air landing on the creatures back and with one click motion of the scalpel the creature was on the floor and kicking Rosalie off of it’s back as it tried to cling to life. Rosalie quickly moved to her feet and moved over to the pregnant woman. 

“We gotta move, now!” she quickly spoke moving her arm around the others waist and helping her up and guiding her the the next open room that would have a lock, she helped the woman sit down before locking the door and looking around the room grabbing the foot of a bed and snapping it leaving it with a sharp edge. She looked over at the other “are you alright? that was a hard hit, what a douchebag and this is why I say men are bigger bitches then women.”

Rowan was more focused on her baby than she was on anything else, worried that her fall might have hurt the baby. She felt along her belly for any overly sore spots and paused to wait for terrible pain in her midsection or feeling of wetness but when she was satisfied with that she looked up a woman offering to help her up. Still shook from the impact that brought her down Rowan’s head was spinning when she was sat down into the next room, where the hell was Danny? Was he one of the mangled bodies out in the hall? Or maybe he was more so in the lobby fighting creatures as they entered? 

When being questioned Rowan pulled herself out of her own head and frowned trying to place what the woman asked, “Been through worse.” Was all that she could think to say as she rubbed her belly with an sigh of relief feeling the baby move to the sound of her voice. “People tend to show you who they really are when their lives are on the line. If Karma has a say, he’ll be dead before he hits the lobby anyway.”

Noelle had gone to investigate after having heard a piercing scream coming from the corridor, not long before the emergency alarms began to ring throughout the hospital. As she hurried back to Rowan she encountered nothing but chaos throughout the wards and by the time she was reunited with the other, Rowan had already been knocked down. Noelle forced her way forwards, pushing past the panicking bodies as a group of people attempted to warn off the creature. “Oh god – here” she called towards the woman as she reached down for her to take her hands, securing one arm around her frame as she did so, attempting to help her up. “I’m sorry, we have to go … we have to go now.”

Rowan had in a way lost this baby once before, being killed before the poor thing could even form itself into the human form it now had, with little hands and toes. She held onto her belly carefully trying to shield it from any harm as she grinds her teeth against the pain in her back. Seeing the doctor appear in the crowd of panicked people Rowan reached up with her hands to get to her feet before a terrible pain nearly caused her to double over, groaning in pain as her hand squeezed the doctor’s. She tried to keep walking, ignoring the pain that washed over her. Breathing deeply as she bites back the pain and keeps moving. She made it a cross section of the corridor before she had to stop and grabbed onto the corner of the wall letting out a pained groan, “I- no I can’t keep going.” Sweat started to bead on her forehead before she jolted in pain letting out a small painful moan. “Something is wrong.”

Rowan was already at the hospital when shit hit the fan, she had been waiting for Danny to do one of their last appointments before she would go into labor in hopefully another month or so. The screaming that started out in the lobby had the worried she-wolf standing up and opening the door to her room looking out into the hallway as people were running by. “What the fuck is going on?” She wondered if it was someone going a little wild with the sudden return of the supernatural abilities. It wasn’t till she heard this ungodly screech that she had to think it was something much more than that. Seeing a giant creature that looked like something that crawled out of the black lagoon Rowan takes a step back, “Holy fu-” Before she could get her sentence out someone running her direction slammed right into the heavily pregnant wolf hard enough to bring her to the ground.

Rosalie still remembered Mystic Falls, it had been her home once. Hell, she felt as though it was still her home even if she had been run out of it by people who were rather cruel. She decided that if she was going to get some information on Niklaus and find out if he was friend or foe to her she would have to mingle. She tilted her head to the side as she watched the other woman, she walked over almost not even second guessing what she was doing “ Here let me help you bring these in. ” She had after all grew up in a pack and what her father and her pack had taught her was that you always looked out for each other and perhaps being back in Mystic Falls was giving her some nostalgia. 

She grabbed ahold of the paint cans and gestured to them “ where do you want these? ”

Rowan looked at the strange woman with caution, strangers were something she never feared before that than again that was before she was brutally murdered with her husband in front of their young child by someone they knew. “Oh you really don’t need to do that.” Rowan replied but with the young girl already having the paint in hand there wasn’t much she could do in the way of stopping her it seemed. “You can put them on porch I guess, someone else will get them.” She was all the more willing to stall seeing as she wasn’t going to be using the blue paint if she could help it. “Maybe I can tell my husband they were stolen off the porch and chuck them in the trash somewhere else.”

Archer had come to Mystic Falls in search of his mother, for the last few years he had been searching for her having been given wrong advice on where his mother currently lived. However, once he heard she was indeed in Mystic Falls he made his way there. He was walking towards his car when he heard a woman and he turned his head and he watched the woman grabbing the paint cans and being raised as a gentleman he couldn’t just let her have to carry those into the house. 

He walked over “ I guess we don’t have much of an eye for colors but why don’t you allow me to help you bring these in? ” He spoke offering her a tired but kind smile.

Looking out at the stranger Rowan felt a surge of protective fear wash over her, the last time she carried this baby in her womb in the land of the living she and her husband had been murdered and her daughter Andrea cast into the wind. “I don’t have any inkling that his eye for color is off, more so that he just doesn’t want the color I thought we agreed on. Might be an alpha...male type but I ain’t gonna just roll over on it.” Rowan had her own ideas for how to go about the baby’s room and blue wasn’t it. “Not to sound rude but I ain’t in the habit of letting strange men in my house. I won’t mind the help to the porch though, this kid is kicking the hell out of my organs like I ain’t keeping it alive with these organs.”
