Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.

Which unimportant character is your favorite between the two?
Propaganda for Old Man Owl: he's got DRIP. and SWAG and is not afraid to steal and i can respect that in a bird.
Propaganda for IDW 41 Background Moth: They dress up and acts like they are from monarchy even though the only monarchy we know of is from the Sol dimension. Their design is also pretty cool and we dont have that many insect characters in the Sonic cast.
