The Limba people are the third largest ethnic group in Sierra Leone.
The Limba language belongs to the Atlantic–Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family.
The Limba consider themselves to be a mountain people. They have a spiritual home called The Kakoya Village and they believe all Limbas return to the mountain through the town beyond a “door” through the rock.
