President #3 Thomas Jefferson Buried in the Jefferson Family Cemetery on his former estate, Monticello in Charlottesville, VA. Died on the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, moments before President #2 John Adams passed away. Also interesting, on the list of Thomas Jefferson’s accomplishments, being President isn’t one of them.
