EXCLUSIVE: Pierre Poutine is...
A lot of speculation has been going around about the identity of "Pierre Poutine"/"Pierre Jones" at what some might consider the heart of the Robocalls scandal; however, this is only one side, and certainly not the largest part of the overall investigation into wrongdoing by the Conservative Party of Canada during the 41st General Election.
This much is publicly known: Pierre Poutine had a business relationship with RackNine and 2call.ca of Alberta.  In media interviews, RackNine owner Matt Meier claimed he able to trace the IP information supposedly momentarily unguarded to an address in Guelph; Mr. Meier confirmed this information with me in a subsequent email, also stating that he was unable to get any more information due to the information being protected behind a "veil."  Of course, by the time I had come into contact with Mr. Meier, I had already begun investigating and had found out the identity of Pierre Poutine.  Whether or not there was a layer of protection when Mr. Meier backtracked him, I was able to trace this information to a location that matched information about a Conservative Party campaign staff member.
This staff member had a prior relationship with RackNine, a company that does not try to hide the fact that it openly supports Conservative Party and (small c) conservative operations.  It has also been reported that the person behind Pierre Poutine was a self-claimed "cellphone expert", and had more than enough technical expertise to set up a parallel operation to his existing legal business relationship, or to disguise his unethical and possibly illegal activities as a legitimate business venture.  Whether or not RackNine just didn't vet their new customer with more diligence than a pharmacist vets a customer before filling a prescription for Vicodin, or whether the information provided to Elections Canada wasn't the full story (or accurate) isn't for me to decide or investigate - that would be the job of the RCMP.  I'm just saying that that particular connection and the information provided to Elections Canada doesn't check out.
Another interesting fact about Pierre Poutine is that the day he stopped cooperating with Elections Canada and hired a prominent Conservative Party of Canada lawyer, is that his communications activity changed and it became a great deal harder to investigate him than it had been in the past.  It's clear that someone much smarter and someone who would know the exact trail investigators would be looking at gave him instructions on saving his, well, ass.  A little too late, though.
According to Elections Canada's expenditure report for the campaign of Marty Burke (Guelph), this person was paid a salary of $1,100 as a member of the staff during the campaign.  It's enough to make him a undeniable member of Mr. Burke's campaign and a paid staffer for the Conservative Party of Canada.  Whether or not he was paid any other amount of money by other people close to the party is unknown at this time.  I have reached out to Pierre Poutine, with the only response being from a Conservative Party lawyer - the same lawyer who has been tasked with uncovering the identity of Pierre Poutine.  Additionally, I've received confirmation from no less than one dozen confidential sources on his identity.  Their information checks out and corroborates mine, thus I feel comfortable in revealing his identity publicly.
Pierre Poutine is Andrew Prescott.
For what it's worth, his lawyer is directly connected to the Conservative Party, as well several other ridings in Ontario (at least).  And it's not like I don't have dirt on them, too.

Campaign Research
According to multiple confirmed sources, the firm Campaign Research, which has been making aggressive legal threats to journalists or bloggers that speak out about their alleged involvement in the robocalling and possible voter suppression along the lines of RMG, has in fact been much more involved than we've previously led to believe in the media.
Note to Campaign Research: Before making any hasty decisions, I have in my possession documentation of your complicity.  It hasn't been released, but I will have no qualms about releasing it publicly if anything negative comes from your way.
The ties between Campaign Research and RMG go all the way to the top of the Conservative Party, specifically to Senator Doug Finley, who had total control over the CIMS database.  (I have emails and documentation to verify all of this.)
So if we're looking at wrongdoing by RMG, we must also look at wrongdoing by Campaign Research.  They're competitors for business from the Conservative Party, as well as business from the Progressive Conservative party in Ontario.
More to come.

Donations are back!
So you might have noticed I took down the references to PayPal and its donation service this week.  Basically, I don't like how they do business and for ton of other reasons, I suspended my account (which I'll close later this week), and have reopened another donations service.  I'm trying to choose between two services, Amazon Payments and WePay.  WePay looks great in every way and accepts international transactions with low fees, but Amazon might be more convenient for many people - I just need to read up on how to set up the donation system...however I can start taking payments with it.  Just contact me for the process and address I use to donate.
--
For those of you who have kindly donated, I plan to have those spreadsheets with the donations list and expenditures later on today.  You'll have to email me if you want access to see them.
And thanks SO MUCH again.

The Conservative Nine
I will be updating this list throughout the day/week/investigation as more information comes in and checks out.  The actual money transfers from the Vaughan EDA would be easy to confirm with a production order for TD (and another savings bank), and by an investigation into the riding associations concerned.  However, using information from my sources I've been able to come up with the following list, which is by no means complete:
Stella Ambler, MP (Mississauga South)
Parm Gill, MP (Brampton—Springdale)
Ted Opitz, MP (Etobicoke Centre)
#4
#5
#6
#7

Programming note
Quite a literal one too.  Yes, I know that accessing www.cdnpo.li wasn't working (well, it was in Safari and Chrome on OSX), but just using cdnpo.li was.  It was a simple DNS problem that I cleared up last night.
Lesson learned: Before launching something, make sure the DNS A-record is functioning properly across all platforms and with multiple providers.  Oops.

Another issue that came from an emailed question:  Why don't I have comments enabled?
It's too time-consuming.  The best system that works with Tumblr and my particular layout is Disqus, and while easy to install, you'd all have to register for accounts over there.  And if you're like me, you already have a million accounts and passwords for everything.  Plus, moderating it (removing the trolls and spam bots) isn't fun.  If you have something to say, say it to me via email or Twitter - even better, don't remain anonymous.

Slow news days, teasers...
I haven't been posting much on here as of yet because a) the budget is going to suck up a lot of attention for the next several days, and b) the F-35 report needs time to sink in with Parliament and with the collective Canadian consciousness.  But rest assured, there is still a ton of digging around going on behind the scenes - it's a good period to catch up on some rest and to get some more background information.  Plus, there are several fronts this is all being researched on, and sometimes wires can get crossed.
Personally, before my surgery this week/weekend and the downtime it's going to cause me (just until the anesthesia wears off), I want to get as much information collected as possible while I'm still able to speak and function.  Publishing it doesn't take that much work.  Plus, most of the government is either getting laid-off or is going on vacation for the holidays.  Good organizing time.
But, stay tuned, follow in your RSS/Google reader/on Twitter, for any updates I plan on posting.  (And I have several infographics planned, among other things.)  Also, spread the word that the source website has changed to here from its previous location - I don't think everyone has gotten the memo about that yet.  If you have any political or other questions/comments and want to engage me, do it via my personal Twitter account and I will respond.  (Sorry if this is confusing...)
Thanks/Merci Brian-Michel

A historical charity that receives millions of dollars from the federal government each year has been paying the Conservative Party’s main call centre company for fundraising work. Historica-Dominion Institute has been using Responsive Marketing Group (RMG) for telephone fundraising to supplement the $5 million to $7 million the charity has received from the federal government over each of the past three years. The privately-owned RMG performs voter identification and fundraising work for the federal Conservatives using the party’s sophisticated Constituent Information Management System (CIMS) database.
This is the first piece in decoding the robocalling puzzle.
Through my own research, I can confirm that RMG and the Conservative Party of Canada have extremely close ties at the highest levels of both the company and the party.  RMG has had access to the CIMS database - and all the information contained inside - for the past five years.  This covers the 2011 general election, several by-elections, and the 2011 Ontario provincial election, making them active on the federal level for the Tories, as well as the provincial level for the Progressive Conservatives.
This is important, as we now have one of the major players on the corporate side exposed.  But this is just one company with ties to the Conservatives.  There's still much more to this yet to be reported.

Putting a personal face on the Auditor General's damning F-35 report.
I doubt the Auditor General will mention any information about Minister Fantino being investigated by the United States government for his past financial dealings.  A group of non-political auditors with rather unlimited resources are going through his campaign financials with a fine-toothed comb, because if we've learned one thing about the United States, they don't like bad P.R. to eventually surface.  Even more so than the Tories.
All this is alleged, of course (like robocalling).  But knowing the way the U.S. Senate works, it's a situation more plausible than impossible.
My source?  One only learns of such things from well-placed eyes and ears in Washington who have congressional oversight of the entire process.

http://cdnpo.li - Where everything robocalls and elections is moving to.
(You are here.)
Today's April 3rd, which means I've been actively blogging about the robocalls and other election irregularities for a month straight, and have been investigating the matter for exactly 11 months now.  For the most part, I've been posting here, to my personal website (unfuckwithable.ca), my personal Twitter feed (@unfuckwithabIe), and to a lesser degree, my personal Facebook page.
Well, in the interest of allowing the media to actually report my findings and/or without having to resort to censorship, I've created a secure website with all of my past posts archived, and it's where I will be posting on this matter from now on.  (It will also host raw documents, images, and media once the publication process begins.)  The address is http://cdnpo.li, which you might recognize from the #cdnpoli hashtag on Twitter.  Additionally, I've set up a separate Twitter account for the website (@cdnpoIi - watch the spelling), and I have a public Facebook page I'll be posting to (https://www.facebook.com/cdnpoli), which you can "like" or whatever.
As this moves forward, I'll also have a personal blog with my own thoughts cataloging the process this research and investigation has taken me.  Look for a link to that soon.  All of my previous posts on unfuckwithable.ca will remain, so that no links are broken - but just know that from here on out, there's a dedicated website for all of this political...mess.  You can still follow my personal blog/Tumblr and Twitter, but I'll be reverting those back to purely personal matters.
Anyway, happy anniversary to me?

Terminology.
Don't call it a scandal.
Don't call it an affair.
Call it by its real name - the greatest election fraud in Canadian history.
