And, following my earlier post from today, I have also been painting a variety of animals while experimenting with colour. Some of these paintings are from photographs I have taken, others are inspired by pictures I’ve seen along the way that were unattributed to their original artists.

Having realised I have lived in 31 houses, I thought I’d do a lockdown project to draw all of them. The project is done as far as I can. When lockdown is finished I will need to go and take some up to date photographs of some of the properties, as even Google maps doesn’t give a clear picture of them. I thought I’d post a selection.

Well May has seen a need for colour, so I’ve sploshed the paint a bit with a pizzeria display from Amalfi, my version of a portrait of Rankin for Sky Arts Portrait of the Week competition, and some experimentation with colour which I think I will over-paint or add a pen drawing of something once I get some inspiration. I think I can see 2 people swimming, or a colourful bird developing in there !
