What’s your fastest recorded heart rate on your ekg?
I want to say that I got my heart rate up into the 180s once upon a time during exercise, which I recorded on my machine. That was probably 4 years ago. I might be able to find the record of that if I didn't delete it from my computer. Recently though, my higher recorded heart rates have been in the 150 bpm range. I usually don't hook myself up to record while I'm up and about. Most of my recordings happen while I'm by myself in small quarters, and that limits the range of activities I can reasonably do to increase my heart rate. Thanks for the question.
Well I tried the headphones in the shot glass method to record my heartbeat. The sound quality isn't good, but it was interesting to me during my tests with this recording method, how it was hard to hear my heart initially. I helped my heart get louder with some poppers, naturally. It's not the best, but maybe someone will get enjoyment out of it lol...
I had a very good time today getting my procedure done. I got into my gown, and laid on the bed. The nurse asked her questions, wrapped the blood pressure cuff around my arm, then did my IV. I waited a bit. Another came in and placed the electrodes and attached the wires, and put a cannula in my nose for the oxygen they were going to give me. Once they had wheeled me into the procedure room and plugged everything in, I realized the monitor had the sound turned on. I could hear my heartbeat being broadcast to the whole room, and it definitely quickened. The anesthesiologist started pushing the drugs and he says to deeply inhale the oxygen. Everything in the room got very loud and it was like I felt really really high, then the lighting fast sleepiness. Next thing I know I wake up in recovery, all over. Being put under was a cool experience, 10/10 would do again.
Had a procedure today, so I stole the gown and left my electrodes on for the night. They even gave me my own hospital bracelet (the most fashionable of jewellery).
I did poppers and a few hits from my dab pen a couple minutes before I started recording. In this one, I did poppers; finished my inhale about the 25 second mark, and tried to hold it for a minute. Sorry about the fan in the background, it's hot!
