Confession: I lowkey appreciate that Sayaka and Celeste killed for genuinely selfish reasons.

I’ve noticed that a majority of the girls who committed murder always had sympathetic reasons and it kind of fuels the stereotype that all girls are supposed to be thoughtful and sacrificial. They either killed for someone they loved/admired (Peko, Mikan, Maki) or they did it for the needs of the many (Sakura, Chiaki, Kaede, Kirumi, Miu).

So I personally like the fact that Sayaka and Celeste had personal reasons that led to them being killers.
