Ha terminado el primer trimestre y parece que las cosas van volviendo a su sitio. Ha sido un final de año muy intenso, me alegro de tener ahora unos días para relajarme y dedicar tiempo a mis amigues, familia y hobbys. Esto es un proyecto de funda libro para mi amiga invisible, lo he hecho en dos ratos y estoy muy contenta con como está quedando. Lo sigo compaginando con el pico calado para mi abu, que parece que no va a terminar nunca, pero bueno.

He estado leyendo bastante, sobre todo comics, aunque este libro de relatos navideños me ha acompañado también y me han gustado mucho. Un cuento en concreto me ha recordado muchísimo al libro de "Así es como se pierde la guerra del tiempo" y me ha emocionado, ¡¡cómo me gusta!!

Espero pasarme con más frecuencia por aquí.

I made a potholder! But this isn't any old potholder, it's my reconstruction of a potholder my great grandma made in the 40s.

My potholder is made with cotton yarn so it won't melt like her acrylic yarn has, and I didn't use rubber Mason jar rings as the basis of my rings like she did. The green and orange is her original potholder.

As you can see, it's been though some things and the rubber rings on the inside are starting to degrade to the point where I'm uncomfortable handling it.

This was my first time making a pattern from someone else's finished object and I had a lot of fun. I'm sure my great grandma used a published pattern, but I couldn't find one on APL or on Ravelry.

I've put the pattern up on my Ravelry store for free if anyone is interested. It's not pattern tested or anything, so be aware of that.

It appears that a long lost original model of the Enterprise, used before the historic 6 foot model (which is in the Smithsonian) was complete has surfaced after nearly 50 years "missing". Found in an abandoned storage unit and briefly listed on eBay yesterday before people informed the seller of it's likely illegal provenance.

He terminado el pico de lana para mi abu, así que el primer regalo de reyes está terminado. Estoy muy contenta con el resultado, me ha relajado mucho que fuera una lana gruesa y que no tuviera patrón, me ha hecho disfrutarlo más.

¡Como ya estamos en octubre toca leer muchas autoras! Yo me he releído la Ladrona de tomates de Ursula Vernon, me ha vuelto a encantar, también me leí Jana en las estrellas, de Laura Tejero que me ha gustado mucho también, mejor no saber demasiado de la historia, pero básicamente es una mujer que tiene que cruzar el espacio para poder esclarecer cuál era el paradero de su ex (las protas son sáficas y la representación está genial).

Pero ahora me estoy leyendo Corazón de Acero y aaaaaaaaaaaaah estoy chillando, mira que los romances heteros me interesan entre cero y nada pero este???? Me tiene así 👁👄👁

Estoy deseando terminar las cosas del cole para hacerme un tecito y volver a sus páginas.
