From their vantage points, it did seem like 2 people wouldn’t be enough for this mission. He’s already counted 20 enemies in plain sight, and he’s sure that the smaller, more agile enemies were already hidden away as well. The broken enemy swords around them that told the tale of their most recent battle showed just how many revisionists had begun to try and alter time here–the castle ahead being heavily guarded meant that their goal lie there.

“It seems the government’s report was not as accurate as it should be.” The tachi muses aloud, his tone still being nonchalant. The best course of action would be to report back and adapt for this new pieces of information but it would give the revisionists more time to continue their actions. Requesting for back up might be the best choice, but he looks towards the other sword with a tilt of his head.

“Shall we return then? It would be difficult with just the two of us.”

It was abundantly clear to the uchigatana that the report they received was far too conservatives with their numbers. While politics wasn’t his forte or interest, he was aware power games and status were always factors with any group in any age. Had their precious Saniwa pissed off the wrong person? While she wasn’t on the frontlines, it would reflect negatively on her if they had to retreat. It would be a logical choice to make- yet this level of a screw up seemed far too large to not be deliberate. So since his gut was telling him this was a trap meant to damage their Saniwa, the demonic blade let out a laugh before slaughtering the group of enemy swords trying to ambush them.

“Difficult if we held back, though in this case, we have a shining opportunity to but a bit more effort into! The two of us is all we need to get to that castle and deal with their leaders! Fufufufu~!” He answered while snickering as he sliced down several arrows meant to hit them. Sengo was confident he could handle the projectiles for the most part, while Mikazuki woke up a bit and decimated their forces on sight. Together they could easily make a trail of hundreds of broken swords in the wake of their might.

What better way to send a message that their Saniwa is great and not to be messed with, hmm?

Sunflowers

Ra found the world he was visiting to be quite quaint. The planet and kingdom he casually floated around in had a pleasant scent and vibe. The way the biological beings were structured were similar to how beings were created in his universe, minus a few details here and there. While he would boast about being a superior creator, he couldn’t sense the creator(s) of this universe as effortlessly as he sense of the gods within his own. He assumed they were either shy or possibly napping. While he didn’t find a lack of warm welcome as an affront to him, he was mildly disappointed.

Halfling, Elf, Daddy, Dwarf...Ra’s point ears heard all the whispers the natives of this world over his appearance. He found it cute they were trying to perceive and understand his magnificence within the context of their world. His sheer mass and ability to fly set him apart from all they’ve seen previously. That was the impression he’d gotten from their intimated and awe fuel hushed gossip. Maybe he should arrange it for it to be bright and sunny for his entire visit here? The warm of their sun’s rays should carry his openness and glory, right?

“Who is the deity who blesses this land with such beauty? I wish to speak to them.” While his request was minor in his eyes, to the around him it must have appeared far more harsh and commanding then he expected. Panic mixed with concern was evident on all those near him. Maybe their deity went on vacation? He might just have to bless whoever had the courage to speak to him with a boon at this rate. He wasn’t trying to cause fear in the least!
