Hello there, if you are here you must like Janeway therefore you must be a cool person so hello cool person! I hope you enjoy looking at the awesomeness of Captain Janeway! :)
Picard: Federation law is very clear on this but I’m a very creative reader
Janeway: Guys you’re not going to believe this; Federation law has fucking NOTHING relevant to this current situation but I’m going to read 20 hours of other captain’s logs to make sure. Buckle up though because we’re probably going to do some buckwild shit after the commercial break
Tour of Voyager's bridge with Kate Mulgrew, from E! Inside Star Trek Voyager (1995)
... I'm not sure I believe her about how they end their bridge shifts 🤣🤣
also, I tried really hard to transcribe this, but there were parts I just could not get... if anyone can decipher the parts I missed, please let me know and I'll fix the captions!
also... Kate and Garrett weren't even acting, were they? They're just as obsessed with each other as Janeway and Harry are, and in the exact same way 🤣🤣
Do you think the temporal police ever lay awake at night haunted by the fact that the only reason Starfleet a.) has transwarp and b.) aren’t swarmed with Borg is because one woman was so unhinged about three people
The unofficial policy is ‘hey if by some chance you find yourself back in time on Voyager can you just do us all a solid and off yourself.’ Like this timeline is so so delicate, we love you, be safe or whatever but you could mess this up for us so bad
Before I got back into Voyager I found out the tides of opinion on Janeway had changed when I happened across an article about who the best captain to serve under was and their conclusion (correctly due to her low fatality rate and utter devotion to her crew) was that Janeway was the best option.
Your chances for both survival and exploring new things is the best with her, which, yeah, clearly but it was shocking to see open admiration of Janeway after having lived through watching Voyager as it aired.
