You’ve taught me not to hold back and fight. Not to just take it when I’ve been wronged. And also that you could gain things by fighting and protesting. Twenty-Five Twenty-One (2022)

Jay Z / Fif beef
If Jaz Z can call Em “that white guy” can Em call Jay “that black guy, who is married to Beyonce’ and used to be relevant” I’m just wondering if that is allowed or would that be considered racist. Let me know

The twisties
I have the twisties when it comes to buying or supporting anything that is endorsed by Simone Biles.  As much as she was a celebrated Hero for her performance at the 2016 Olympics she was a National disappointment at the 2020 games.  She should have competed and done her best if she competed and came in last I would have had more respect for her.  She quit on herself, her team and her Country.  Nuff said.

Amanda had so much talent.  She was so witty and bubbly.  She had an infectious charisma.  Somehow her handlers allowed her to become an absolute disaster.  Her career should be an example to Hollywood handlers / agents to keep tight reigns on their talent.  There could have been many many many more years of gravy train action, if she was not allowed to waste what remained of her viable years.  She became untouchable.  So sad to think about the loss of money and livelihoods that were tied to her career.  It was like a rocket that exploded before leaving the atmosphere.  Amanda might be the Challenger of a young Hollywood story.  Let her serve as an example!!!! She should have remained productive into her early thirties at least.

ALF
ALF the tv show, the puppets, the voice actor, the toys, the image are all toxic.  ALF has corrupted the morals of multiple generations and needs to be erased from the popular culture, before it is too late.  The mere mention of ALF stains your soul and starts a butterfly affect of consequences that will literally drag you to hell !!!!!!!!!!

ALF
I distinctly remember being sexually assaulted by ALF in 1987 or at least someone or something in an ALF costume.  Could it have been an actual alien? Maybe it was Willie and I am confusing things; but it definitely happened.  I still have horrible PTSD nightmares and reactions to ALF visuals and toys etc.

Weinstein's accusers have hurt women on a broader scale
The many women who have come out of the woodwork to accuse Harvey Weinstein of harassment and assault have damaged women in the entertainment industry to a greater degree.  The struggle for equality in treatment and pay has been set further back by these women and their betrayal of the Hollywood system.  The greater number of women who abide the rules and consider it the cost of doing business garner the greater respect and would have continued to foster slow change.  Instead, you now have a paranoid industry system, still controlled by men, that are now unwilling to trust women.  This will not bring about equality / equity but instead drive a wedge of division even further into the heart of female entertainers.  Women will be made to suffer further inequities in the industry as a result of the squeaky wheels.  Some evils are just inherent to the system.  A purge of the system can never truly be accomplished as those in power have committed and support the same evils, they are just more intelligent, than the sacrificial lambs (ie: Weinstein) or too powerful to topple.  The rules must be adhered to and the whistleblowing will only lead to blackballing.  The whistles start out deafeningly thunderous but over time the whistles and blowers fade.  Those in power still occupy the thrones and the game remains unchanged.  Only those who are willing to play the game and keep its secrets, will be allowed a seat at the table.  This is not equality, but it is what can be achieved.  Limited power is better than no power at all.  A limited voice can be a loud gong and a loud voice, telling a forbidden tale, can be silenced with the snap of a finger.  Pride & self respect are wonderful concepts, but unfortunately they do not pay the bills or keep one in the lifestyle to which they had been afforded.  Many if not all of these actresses will find it very difficult to get meaningful parts in mainstream films.  Rose McGowan is the rule, not the exception.

How to stifle the greed of Sports Stars the way Napster body slammed the Musicians. The Beginning of the end:
In the late 1990′s musicians were raking in the dough from the sales of CD’s.  At the time CD’s had risen to a price of between $12.99 and $15.99 for a single album.  In 1999 Napster, the peer to peer file sharing service went live and changed the landscape forever.  From the dawn of Napster and on and on for the next 22 years the profits musicians have garnered from the sales of their music / intellectual property has dropped off precipitously.  Putting the moral debate aside, it is safe to say that musicians received millions to billions of dollars for the art they created.  It is also easily argued that the astronomical sums of currency received was not a direct correlation to the music’s artistic merit or it’s impact on society.   Safe to say the works of Mozart and Chopin and even the music of early jazz and Motown musicians did not rake in nearly the amount of money that the works of Biz Markie and WASP brought in with record sales through the 80′s and 90′s.  This is an extreme example, to be kind; but think about the amounts of money taken in by artists, who’s so called art, contributed nothing to society.  The bloated musicians of the 80′s and 90′s took in billions for music that albeit enjoyable, was not anything more than distraction. The greed of these artists and the record companies forced Joe Citizen to pay exorbitant amounts of cash to own a copy of the ear worm they couldn’t get out of their head. This all came crashing down upon them when Napster and the advent of peer to peer file sharing, via the internet, took off.  All that was needed was for a single copy to be purchased and disseminated to the masses over the world wide web.   The days of huge pay days for music often and many times admittedly created in mere minutes was over.  The greedy bloated musicians took legal action, Napster in its original form ended in 2002.  But this was merely the beginning.  Pandora’s Box had been opened.  The internet is an unstoppable leviathan and the virtual Gods that write code were in control now.  There were too many file sharing sites.  They were easily shut off, taken dark, re-named and just utterly unregulatable, for the musicians or the music industry to take a stand.  Now musicians had to actually get creative to make any money off of the content they were creating.  They literally had to “Sing for their supper”.  Those who couldn’t perform live or lacked the talent or creativity to stand out and forge a worthy fan base, starved and withered.  Understandably, there is still a music industry and there are artists that still that make tons of money but they no longer make the money through the sales of physical albums / CD’s.  As an example Metallica (the band who defeated Napster) sold over 30 million copies of the Black album, released in 1991 and under 2.5 million copies of Hardwired to Self Destruct, released in 2016.  Those numbers are according to Chartmasters and are for original album sales only.  Factoring in singles, downloads and streaming, the numbers are 45 million and 3.2 million respectively.  This is an enormous drop off in the profit margin to be had just through the sales of the music, regardless of Metallica’s drop off in popularity.  The internet destroyed the profit margin and put these bloated fat cats in check. It is high time that we now put Athletes and Movie / TV stars in the same kind of check.
The Bell tolls for YOU:
Athletes are the Capitalist Pig Dogs of todays society.  Todays Athlete commands and demands such ridiculous amount of money to play a child’s game.  They play the same sports that kids play all throughout their lives. Granted they play these sports at a high level and provide great entertainment and earning potential for the sports leagues, franchises and owners.  My argument here is and always will be that the Athlete is an employee and they are paid a salary for their work.  In the case of Athletes, their job is to play a series of games over a season.  Their salary should not be proportional to the amount of money that is made off of their marketability based on their performance within the sport.  The argument that the owners make X and the league makes Y and this justifies the mega million dollar contracts that star players make, is where the system got out of whack in the first place.  The players are employees, essentially property of the franchise / owner.  I understand it is hard to characterize a human being as property, but in a business sense, that is exactly what they are.  They are drafted / signed by the team and are paid by the team / owner to play the game.  They are as much the property of the team as the an airliner or a cruise ship is the property of the airline or cruiseline.  They are instruments employed by parent corporation, sports league or franchise to provide a service and generate profits for them.  Athletes are absolutely entitled to a fair salary as it is their performance and marketability that generates the profits for their franchise / owner and the league.  The wages they earn are utterly ridiculous and absolutely not justifiable.   The owners have given way too much power to the players in these sports leagues by being too weak minded and profit driven.  Players that sign a rookie deal and then go out and perform at a level high level and then demand a new contract, should be forced to play under their agreed to contract or just cut and run out of the league. Players that hold out while under contract, should be terminated and sued for breach of said contract.  The rest of the owners should collude (I know it’s illegal) secretly and blackball the player.  That way the player does not sign with another team, who would cave to their demands and then hurt the initial team or make the owners look bad.  This past season there was a blatant example of this with Dak Prescott.  Prescott, who is an average QB at best, was given the largest contract for a QB ever.  He was previously offered the comical amount of 35 million and turned it down.  Dallas should have not offered him another contract and no other team signs him and he then goes and plays in Canada for pennies compared to the 35 million he was offered.  Players who are under contract and then have a top 5 year at their position and then demand to be paid in the top 5, even though they still have 3 years left on a contract they signed (of their own free will, mind you) should be cut and run out of the league.  If the owners would have had the balls to do this when hold out and free agent signing began, this would have led to much more power for the owners and the employees, still being employees.  Instead, the owners caved to the demands of the players, most times out of their own greed, gained by a championship or a top 5 player / superstar on your team.  This gave the players / employees / property, all of the power and allowed the players to dictate everything from salaries, to team logos and facilities, coaches and other players to draft or sign.  All of those decisions should be at the sole discretion of the owner and GM and the players should have no input.  Star players should be paid approximately what entry level players get.  The MLBPA is trying to get $775,000 base minimum salary for players in their new CBA.  That equates to just under 4,000 a day for every day they spend under the contract, whether they play or not.  I do not think anyone is worth that much money, to potentially just hold a roster spot or spot on the bench.  Star players should make under 10 million a year and that is still a ridiculous figure.  Contracts like the 13 year 330,000,000 contract given to Bryce Harper in 2020, should just never happen.  The owners need to start seizing back their control.  They should refuse the demands of players and force them to sign for less or try to find work else where.  By elsewhere I mean another league, not just another team in the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.  If the owners could do this and these so called stars get relegated to a much less lucrative employment status, they will start to lower their demands and salaries will come down.  I know this will never happen, because the window of opportunity was squandered by the owners and now they beholden to their employees.
A thought for the Future:
We can only hope that there is a Napster type reckoning coming for the star players of our beloved sports leagues, that are holding us all hostage.  They dictate everything in our major sports and drive the prices of everything from hot dogs to t-shirts by the salary demands they make. One can only dream that as we become more and more of a technology based society that all sports will be replaced by E-Sports and then the start athlete of today will wish they had Joe Citizen willing to pay crazy sums of money to see them play a child’s game.  To the tech bosses if this happens, keep control of your product and do not let those who are merely good at playing your game, demand more than you are willing to pay them.  You are the boss, you make the terms, do not give away your power for profit margin as in the long run it will catch up and devour you.
