Behind Captured Moments

Sometimes its just you and the moment. As you are in a spotlight blend in the nature. Thinking that there is must be a reason in that captured memory.

A photo of mine taken in Sibalom river posted on my Tumbler last month for our performance task in science and math entitled "Earth and I". This was taken on a gloomy Sunday, last September 24. It will drizzling outside when I went there. While we (with my sibling) take the pic not only for the project. Somehow it remind me of my 10th grade teacher that he said all things are being involved by the math.

A great way to cherish great moments in life is to record once in the lifetime experiences will always be a great way to keep precious moments in our lives.

Earth: Save Our Home

Have you ever wondered what would it be if Earth extinct or doesn’t exist at all? Where do you think we are right now? What will happen to us, humans? This may build up thousands of questions, making us overthinking about the future yet signs of extinction slowly showing up, warnings to make a move and solve our planet. Earth, not just a planet but sanctuary of all living organism. Abundant of all resource all living creations need to survive such as food and shelter. Alongside us humans, are the animals and plants. Nowadays, humans have become more civilized and knowledgeable on how to make life easier and end up abusing such power. An example of which is the uncontrollable of blowing up of populations in some countries causing the need of now resources, food and shelter leading to conversion of forest or animal’s natural habitat into residential and commercial areas. This action results to gradual loss of different species of animals and plants.

Earth provides more than what we ask for and people and gifted with such intelligence to make most of those natural resources but people let greediness consume them. Detrimental activities such as mining, quarrying & illegal logging become a huge source of income for people. This actions will harm earth, its people, and everything that resides in here. In relation to it is the mining in Homohon Island in Eastern Samar, the place have been change drastically with its area of brown scenery now and become prone to landslides and flashflood. According to Inquirer.Net over 2000 people joined a prayer brigade as protest to the activity.

Lastly, aside from those illegal actions another major cause of Earth’s destruction is pollution. That is present in land, water and air. Scattered rubbish along streets and sidewalks, Floating trash on oceans and seas caused by irresponsible people. These pollution cannot just harm earth’s ozone layer, and marine life but also the people. Who will get sick from this.

Let’s not wait for the time when we’ll lose everything we have. Make a move to protect and preserve Earth. Have self-discipline, be mindful and take responsibility on your action. Participate and educate people in community on how to take good care of our home. Small steps can lead to big impacts if we help one another towards our goal in saving Earth.
