so I talked to joseph for a while on the phone today and he was talking about how he still loves fiona and he will always love her and etc etc even though they went months without talking to each other and she has told him that she doesn't know when she will be back to ghana and that he should focus on his life and not wait for her but he still loves her

and i was thinking what if simon feels that way about me? i mean i am an asshole who pretty much started ignoring him and then had sex someone else and i never even had a "break up" conversation with him and he still tells me he loves me when i do talk to him and says things to me and i feel really guilty suddenly about what a shitty person i have been to him but like when i was in ghana and when i first came back we said all of these things because i FELT all of those things and then those feelings faded for me but i don't think they did for him and i am pretty much an asshole
