Cute story about swiftie couple (me and my bf) today. I can’t remember everything word for word because im human but this is the general order of events.

today my swiftie boyfriend and i were having a morning coffee shop date after he slept over. and as we were sitting there drinking our drinks and eating our pastries and chatting, this harry styles song comes on and i’m like “this song is so much better than his popular ones.” which leads to a conversation that leads to me saying “can you imagine being taylor swift and being known for SHAKE IT OFF when you wrote IVYYYYYYYY!??!?!?!???!” and then he looks at me with so much love in his eyes and says “honey i want to listen to Ivy together but you pause it frequently to tell me your analysis of the lyrics and musicality and what makes it such a good song.” or something like that. I was speechless and very in love. I said “I can’t believe you are asking me to rant about taylor swift to you, no one has ever done that.” and he says “I like the sound of your voice, and i like taylor swift.” and anyways if he had asked to elope right then i would have said yes. obvs we then did do the Ivy analysis party in the car on the drive home (very enjoyable discussion, very fun, took like a half hour). we then listened to other ts masterpieces for fun. i love him so much. 

my swiftie boyfriend (of over a year) and I’s song is Sweet Nothing and oh god the people the song being about being broken up now makes me wanna cry because to me that song is like the epitome of love, it’s my everything when it comes to romance ya know? my boyfriend says its okay that it’s not joe and taylor’s love song anymore because now it can just be ours, but it still hits me hard that they could have written such a beautiful love song together and then it’s just over. 

i got him into taylor swift and now he’s buying me minecraft. going to marry this one... one day.

My swiftie boyfriend (he’s super cute and silly and awesome) made a playlist of his favorite taylor swift songs and i think i fell in love again because his taylor swift taste is IMMACULATE. We have almost all the same favorite songs. 

today we fangirled over taylor doing a film and then later we cried to the finale of a show we’re watching. love love love. 

I didn’t realize how much I needed a swfitie s/o until my boyfriend starting religiously listening to taylor all the time so he could get me. now he’s a swiftie and i dont know how i was surviving before. the other day i showed him joe alywn’s instagram story where he posted benji and i was like “this is benjamin button, he is 1 of 3 cat children—” and he was like “oh yeah I know. and meredith is the one who hides!” 

Taylor: will it be enough if I can ever give you peace?

Joe: *all he wants is nothing*

Taylor: what if I told you none of it was accidental?

Joe: *knew she was a mastermind*

Taylor: the rains always gonna come if you’re standing with me!

Joe: *doesn’t really read into her melancholia*

Taylor: is it cool that I said all that? Is it chill that you’re in my head?

Joe: *tries on calling her baby like trying on clothes*
