This isn’t a question, but I’m constantly baffled at how well Nicole plays Gwen The Medical Student????

I’M a medical student and every time she starts talking I’m like “We do that. All of us do that. Every single one of us acts like that. I’m in this picture and I don’t like it, I have to deal with 120 other of myself every single day and now it’s in my favorite podcast. How did this happen????”

Hahaha thank you so much, this is wonderful to hear!! I'll admit that while writing it I consulted a lot with a friend of mine who's a doctor to figure out 'what medical students do', but I'm very pleased it's resonating. I'll have to ask Nicole if she was thinking of any medical students too!

btw, you can get these lovely paintings as woven blankets!! which can totally be hung as tapestries if you have a big enough wall ;)

I am Diogenes-ing a previous ask. There was an ask where from a while ago about how someone named Clark Kent would not have superman's powers because the story originally existed in a written form. This means that if there was a character named Bartholomew, they would have the "powers" of Barty from Civilized, because Civilized didn't originally exist in a written form. (sorry for the stupid ask I just want to be funny)

I'm sorry did you just use Diogenes as a verb this is the best day of my life.

Also, you get extra bonus points for making a fiction podcast (!) reference however sadly age of the story, nature of the story (was it originally created as a product), and its connection to the land all mean that Bartys in the world of Camlann remain tragically powerless
