⸻ scott swears he feels his already holly jolly heart grow three sizes when a touch of christmas magic can light up someone's day ; he's made it a point to journey down from the hustle & bustle of his hive of a workshop every so often to check in on the state of the world in person rather by scrying a snowball sprinkled with magic . ❝ what's not to like ? mother nature 'n father time got a lot t'say , but somethin' about finally puttin' a face to a . . . uh . . . ❞ a name ? not quite . ❝ it's just nice to meet ya' , puts everything into fruition . comet might just be in it for the candy in your pockets . ❞ comet glances up , caught red - hoofed , ears perked , then rolls large brown eyes . scott on the other hand , is a fan of their wordplay & belts out an affirming ❝ hey - o ! ❞ mitten strokes his beard in thought . ❝ comet's got an attitude on him sometimes , but he's a dependable member of the sleigh team . they've been on the job long enough to be pros -- even take the babies under their wing for flyin' lessons ! er . . . antlers . ❞

⸻ ❝ i think comet likes ya’ , pal . ❞ scott “ ho ho ho’s ” to himself observing his favorite reindeer companion nibble on the other’s scarf.

Continuous gli- gli- glitched giggles leave them grinning as they let Comet gnaw at their comfort scarf, their knees on the surface and shaky hands playing with his antlers. ❝ I - I - IIIII like me as well! ❞ they gently pat themself on the head as to emphasize before they do the same to Comet. ❝ JUST as much as I like Co- I like Comet tooooo!… Oh my gosh, you - you are - you are so cu—! ❞ The sudden lick on the face from him elicits a delighted squeak, then a louder giggle. ❝ What is it like to take care of the rein- of the reindeers, Scott!? There is noooo way they can be naughty when Comet is so… en- en- enDEARing! ❞ A rush of pride runs through them at the pun as they give Scott a smugly smirk then.
