I've lost count how many Straightforward Mitts by Mone Dräger I've knit now. But it's just such a good pattern. Partly because they fit almost anyone, they're so stretchy, and partly because they're so fun and simple to kit. Although this time I added extra fiddle with the fingers.
While on the crafter's fair in Hjo, I bought this yarn from akerbergsstash (on Instagram) since Tob really loved this colorway, and he's always in need of some mitts.
It's 50/50 merino/silk and I'm definitely a little bit in love with this base. Also, the color is just amazing with all the little shifts and dots of colors. Been admiring it at every round. And it wasn't as hard on my hands to knit with as I feared with the silk in there. But I say this, coming from a summer where I've almost exclusively knit with linen and cotton, so maybe I'm just used to it now? Idk.
Anyway, definitely want to knit some garment in this one day.

I finished it like… 8 hours before it would be gifted, not having a frame for it and with enough stress running through my veins that I could slap Santa if he dared say the wrong word, but now that I’m back to normal from the holidays, I wanted to thank you for the amazing pattern, Inlove the work you do! 🖤
My mom loves her “sampler” very much, now we just need to find the right, damn frame *facepalms and then glares at all the shops in the vicinity, that don’t carry square frames*

another crochet project done! a waffle stitch cat blanket. the waffle stitch was super easy and fun. it doesn't show it too well in the pictures but it's super 3D and textured just like a waffle lol
i'm still trying to use up all the random single balls of yarn i bought when i was more noob-ish and didn't know what i was doing lmao. so this is like the fourth cat blanket i've made.
