Batfam civilian AU prompt
Bruce is a billionaire.
That's it.
No caped crusader.
No Batman.
The only crime fighting he does is funding social programs and the like.
He's also adopted several children he's very protective of.
Especially Tim, who once almost died in an assassination attempt aimed at Bruce, and as a result now has no spleen.
So it's a bit hard for Bruce to accept when Tim puts together a dinner to introduce him to his new boyfriend, Conner.
Conner, who wears a spiked, leather jacket and several pairs of earrings.
Conner, who walks around with a wolf dog on a leash.
Conner.
Who will never be good enough for Tim.
Meanwhile, Clark, who is a normal human journalist that grew up on a farm in Smallville, has only just been granted custody of the son he never knew existed.
He's a bit protective of Conner, who he's still getting to know, and is worried about his new relationship with the son of the billionaire who is always in the tabloids.
Is Tim using him for something?
Does he think getting close to Conner will get him closer to Lex?
Both Bruce and Clark are worried about their son's and not sure how to approach them with their concerns.
This leads to the two of them both working to break them up, both thinking it's in their son's best interests.
After the break up, however, Tim starts spending all his time at work in an effort to forget about Conner.
Bruce can't get him to stop.
Sleep normally.
Smile.
Meanwhile Clark notices that Conner has withdrawn even more.
He'll hardly interact with anyone other than Wolf.
Even brushing off Jon.
Both Clark and Bruce realize they've made a mistake and, in order to fix it, they have to work together.

I want other Western leftists to listen to me for a minute here. We have to listen to Iranians, and we can not forget that the Iranian government routinely commits human rights violations against its own people. The government in Iran is a fascist theocratic oppressive organization.
Do not get swept up in the emotions you're feeling about israel facing consequences to their actions and forget about Iranians who are being oppressed. I know that a lot of us on the outside looking in are enraged by and desperate to fix what is happening to the Palestinian people right now. However, don't praise the Iranian government without thought or criticism. Do not forget 22 year old Mahsa Amini killed by Iranian morality police in Tehran just as you do not forget 5 year old Hind Rajab killed by the IOF in Gaza.
Free Palestine. Free Iran Free all oppressed people around the world.

Oh don't get me wrong. What Israel is doing to Palestine is absolutely wrong. But also, we need to acknowledge the few Israeli people who don't want this war. There are good and bad people everywhere.
Also, I just want to say that most Iranians believe that Palestine should be free.
If people of Palestine are doing some things wrong, making a few wrong choices that the media will use against them or something like that, it's okay. People do stupid shit during war. People do stupid shit all the time.
I see it every day in Iran. Us people of Iran can do the right thing. We can fight against our government and change everything.yes, it's hard, yes, it will kill many of us, yes, ut will take time, but we need to fight more. Yet we're not.
I know the situation in Palestine is different, but honestly? It's okay if you do some things wrong.
What matters is that you realize your mistakes and rise back up. And make the right choices. And stay strong.
I think these are something that people need to realize.

I can't believe how everyone is falling for what Islamic republic is doing.
Did you forget Mahsa Amini? Or all the people who died in the protests?
And now you're cheering Islamic republic on? You're complimenting them and supporting them?
Well, as an Iranian, let me tell you something. We don't want a war to start. We're already miserable enough as it is.
Don't you dare forget Mahsa Amini. Don't you dare forget what Islamic republic is. Don't you dare compliment them when they killed and tortured and abused my people.
Don't you dare.

It's never felt more like a 'Fuck western lefties' time for Iranians than now! My people are struggling socially and economically under the rule of a fascist dictator terrorist regime, getting beaten, murdered and silenced by a corrupt government, that is vastly unpopular, day in day out. Now we're at the brink of a costly war on top of everything. And western left wingers are CHEERING ON THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC! Twitter and Instagram are full of dumb westerners acting like the IR is some kind of hero here. Fuckin hell. Two terrorist regimes are going at each other, the result is going to be more misery and civilian deaths. More destruction and casualties. There's nothing to cheer for here.
I can just hope this won't escalate into another humanitarian crisis. God knows the world doesn't need more war and loss of innocent lives right now.

Since last night when we heard about the government launching drones to Israel because of Israel attacking the Iranian embassy building, there have three kinds of people here.
Some of us are laughing and making jokes about the possibility of war, not because we think it's funny, but because it's our coping mechanism. We've been going through hard times for years now.
Some of us are just... Empty of any emotion. We just don't care. Bad things happen a lot here, so what's one more bad thing?
And the rest of us... We're scared. I'm one of those people.
Remember the Mahsa Amini protests? Those protests weren't small or unimportant. Most of us Iranians hate our government. The government has been killing us and ruining this country for years now.
We're too worried about shortage of money and food and a home to live in to really care about anything else. We have bigger problems.
I'm not sure if this will help at all but I'm scared and tired of not speaking. I just wanted to make sure at least some people in the world would know that Iranian people really don't want this war.
I want to wake up tomorrow to be mad that I'm forced to wear hijab to school and be worried about my physics exam. I want to come back home to study because I want to be one of the people who will one day help build free Iran. I want to make sure we'll be known for our old history and amazing culture and happy people.
So understand why a war between Iran and Israel should not start. We're already fighting for basic human rights and in a war against our government. Isn't that enough war for one country?

Having a public account on any social platform makes me anxious. I'm so used to being in the shadows everywhere that i feel weird even thinking about not being in the shadows. But after a few years i have finally convinced myself that tumblr is actually anonymous enough. And i have to admit, there are just enough weird people here that i have this urge to connect with people.
