“I just got back from New York this morning after spending the last few days at private auctions, and apparently someone tried to break into my condo, unsuccessfully at least.” Dominic mused. “My dog has a really big bark for such a friendly guy, he scared the guy right off.”

“binge all the shows you need to catch up on? bake up a storm? clean your entire house?” calliope shrugged her shoulders

“I finally get to go back to work after my three month suspension. Long story. Anyways, I need to train my body to start waking up again at 3am. So, I need some ideas on things to do while I stay up all night to wear myself out, and get myself back on my normal sleep schedule. And go!”

“Are you always kind of, like, anxious at these things? Like at any moment someone will need a doctor and you have to abandon your corn dog to help?”

“i can’t say i’ve really thought about it that way.” calliope laughed “but saving a life seems like a pretty reason to abandon my corn dog.”

“ah come on, you can’t be that bad.” ryder pouts, “i mean, that woman there is like thirty years older than you. i’m sure you are much more active than her.”

calliopes’ eyes drifted over to the women he was talking about “fair enough.” she nodded “well at least we won’t come dead last.”

“as long as you’re content with probably not winning.” calliope laughed

“i’m excited as hell for this obstacle course, fully intend to kick ass. i just need a partner in crime since my friend bailed on me. can you do me a solid? i’ll give you anything you want.” @vestalanding​

brows furrowed as calliope listened to the other speak “as great as that idea sounds, i can’t say i do have a spare dollar.”

“Golden retriever. She’s me service dog, but I decided to give her the day off.” He said as he pulled out his phone, pulling up a photo of Zariah laying on his bed.

a smile spread across calliopes lips as she looked at the photo of the dog. dogs had a way of melting her heart, she wasn’t completely cold hearted. “she’s absolutely precious.” calliope spoke “well hey, we all need a day off, even dogs.”
