“and what the hell makes you think im supposed to be the one cleaning up this shit? you want it done? get off your ass and do it yourself.” bruce barked back at the girl who only seemed spoiled on his part and where was she to be talking to him that way. oh no. no weak minded mortal was going to sit there and quip at him like that. “it is you who is sitting here saying you’re so bored.”
“Oooh, cool it hot head. Showing a temper like that, someone just might take advantage of it,” she smirked. Cade didn’t even know who she was talking to and she had already pissed them off. Too easy... this could be the entertainment she’s been looking for. “And you think cleaning would help? That only sounds like it would put me further into snooze-ville. Plus getting you all worked up already seems like way more fun.”

It was bad enough being forced to make small talk with what felt like every important person in the world, but now they were all on clean up duty as well. It was the right thing to do, Rafe supposed, when some fairy bullshit wrecks someone’s home. But maybe they should have thought about that when they threw this party, had no one learned from Aurora and Maleficent? When immortal beings are involved, any slightest thing can be an insult. Especially a party invite, or lack thereof.
Rafe had volunteered to clean up the bar on the main floor. It was the only option where he could get something out of helping out, so he jumped on it. A lot of the bottles had been smashed with the “earthquake” but a few were salvageable. He bent to pick up an intact glass decanter filled with amber liquid. A quick sniff told him it was whiskey, so he turned the stopper and took a long swig directly from the bottle. He used a foot to begin halfheartedly pushing all the glass pieces into a pile when the sound of footsteps came from behind him.

As soon as everyone started handing out roles for the clean up brigade, Cade knew that was her time to exit in a hasty escape. This certainly wasn’t her mess... for once. She began searching around the castle for something to ensnare her interest, and she found it when she turned the corner to busted up bar. “Don’t be greedy now,” Cade smirked as she leaned against the doorway.

Victoria’s boredom was going to be her downfall whilst stuck in the castle, and she knew as much. It was increasingly harder to keep her tongue in check, to keep her from reverting back to her mean girl ways. People in the castle, they made it look so easy to behave. Now, she sat neatly on a chair, stuck being a good little girl at least for the others to believe that the daughter of the red queen could actually be a decent person. Cade has been wandering again, looking for something to do. At least not knowing her way around the castle made everything a little bit of an adventure. A boring one. At least that’s what she thought until she actually stumbled upon someone interesting. Cade grinned wide, “Please! Please. I’m practically begging.”

“Whoa, let’s not be too hasty now,” Cade chuckled as she leaned against the wall, “who likes a regular old party anyway. A cursed one sounds way more interesting. I mean this is the most excitement that’s happened since being trapped in here. Either way the parties seem to be catching somebody’s attention. Even if that somebody is totally screwing with us.”
“I never thought I’d say this,” Max declared, his hands in his pockets as he looked up at the damaged castle. “But I think we should stop having parties. At least big ones. Maybe little gatherings in the castle are safe, but I think it’s safe to say big, extravagant affairs are cursed.”

“Well at least this earthquake brought a little bit of excitement to the castle,” Cade mumbled as she wandered around aimlessly. She sat on cushioned bench in the ballroom and held an icepack to her knee that was bruised from the outcome of the disaster. As she sat she looked around, sighed, and pocketed a gold necklace that she saw sitting next to her. “Gosh this is boring,” Cade said as she kicked a spare piece of rubble that accidentally collided into somebody. “Whoops. oookay so cade!
- like her mother, cade livesss to be the center of attention and start up trouble. she gets bored easily so she usually finds entertainment in toying with people if there’s nothing else to do.
- contrary to what people may think about her, cade likes to get a little down and dirty sometimes. sometimes. while she does love fashion and the finer things in life, she can be a little bit tomboyish when she’s in the mood.
- cade’s got a tough exterior. that’s what happens when you’re mother is one of the most judgmental people on earth. the truth is, inside she’s always insecure about herself even though she would never let anyone believe that.
- as a friend, cade is fierce. if you somehow manage to breakthrough her walls and get her to care about you, she’ll fight anyone to protect you. that being said, as an enemy cade is a living nightmare and a raging bitch. be careful though, she is very black and white and is quick to make decisions about people-- just like her mother.
- cade is shameless and is always down for a good time.
- she is very passionate about music and fashion. she’s even fairly good at playing a few different instruments. she also loves to sing, although she’s not the best at it.
- love is difficult for her and she does not spread it often. because of her mom, cade grew up very independent when it came to relationships. Drizella taught her that she doesn’t need prince charming to sweep her off her feet because one never came for her. because of that, cade has never been in love or had a serious relationship with a guy, only casual hookups. but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t secretly dream of prince charming.
