I feel like Taylor leaving the album unedited (that we know of) shows how messy it is to go through what she went through. It's disorienting and hard to digest at times. And she has a secret third thread running through most of the album (not talking about a certain football player) which she addresses in The Manuscript. It brings it all home that this all happened because of everything else that has happened in her past. And that isn't a neat 15 song album.
the way she brings it all home in the manuscript is one of the most insane (affectionate) storytelling things she's ever done

We had exams today ok and i was so stressed i was about to cry ans then i got there and bestie whos good in genetics was like book band kar ans then she starts going through all the comcepts zoor se teaching me everything important and im like muje chakkar aa rhe he muje nai deni exam and then I went mendell MC which led to bestie going on the floor laughing itnaa zoor se repeating it 5 times it made me laugh so much seeing her and now ik how I’ll remember the genetics exams day rather then being sad it went shitty
