-Julie: The Highschool sweetheart
-Envy: Ms Goldberg (this one is kinda a stretch but more if you see it in a more symbolic sense it could work)
Falsettos
-Gideon: Marvin
-Wallace: Whizzer

-Scott: Mendel
- Either knives or Neil as Jason but prob more likely knives since I don’t rlly like treating neil like a child.
-Kim and Lisa as the lesbians from next door but I also like thinking about other sapphic Scott pilgrim ships as them
It started off as a self indulgent gwall au but as time went on Marvin and whizzer’s relationship really suited how I actually see Gideon and Wallace’s relationship. Also Marvin fits Gideon so well I can’t and also just his obsession with not letting Trina move on reminds me of Gideon and Ramona as well.

In trousers is a prequel 1979 musical to falsettos, its basically about a gay closeted man coming to terms with his queerness but also denying it and also tackling his behavior and giving hints to why the way he is, specifically his absolute need for attention . I reccomend it! It’s on YouTube it’s not the original cast sadly but it’s good or just listening to the sound track
