homeless disabled trans person needs help affording more nights in hotel while government housing program keeps delaying my move in-date
3/11/2024: hello, my name is equinox. i am a homeless severely disabled trans person who is living in a hotel. i have been working with this apartment complex since october, working through a program for low-income severely disabled people who will provide me a rent figure based off of my earned income. because i sell jewelry and accept donations online, they are extremely confused as to how much income i make and have been stalling and delaying the process this entire time.
i was promised a move-in date of Tuesday, 2/27/2024, then 2/29/2024, only to have it pushed back yet again. i already set up the electricity in my name as they requested it of me on the 27th. it is march 11th, and i have no idea of when i will be approved, now.
today, i received this email:
Tumblr media
i have given them this information several times over the past few months. i have explained that venmo does not generate statements, and that gofundme does not hold a balance. now i've had to explain that stripe also does not hold a balance, and that tumblr is not a payment gateway.
i have been in a hotel for over a month because of this. i have had to explain this information over and over again and have made no headway. i broke down crying this morning because this has been psychological torture. my hotel room is only $38/night. i have tonight booked, but will need help saving up for future nights, as well as the deposit and if i'm ever accepted at this place:
Tumblr media
pay pal: glittergraphicnightmare@ gmail . com venmo: @ equinoxian cash app: $glitterGraphix chime: $Equinoxian
you can also support me here, i sell jewelry as well as zines on my ko-fi:

it's very much a natural thing. it always has been. unfortunately, while homosexuality is found in many species, homophobia is only found in one
EDIT: added a keep reading cause this is a long post lol
EDIT: everyone in the comments needs to shut up or I will turn comments off, stop arguing, jeez

How do I get elitist anti- everything systems off my fucking recommended follows??
I dont like dealing with elitist pieces of shit. If you think the only kind of system is a traumatized system, despite the fact that I am a trauma-created system myself, I want nothing to do with you. You damage the community and make people feel worthless and hopeless and unloved, and I'm just not fucking okay with that. Fuck you.
This is an invitation to block me if you support any of this anti- bullshit, because Im getting tired of blocking every single one of you when you interrupt my feed with traumagenic supremacy when Im trying to find people who dont gaf if someone has something so basic and LOGICAL as an introject, or even many, because that is perfectly normal, especially in trauma-created systems. Telling endos and similar that they should kill themselves for being a "faker" is a hallmark of traumagenic supremacy that makes me go into a blind rage. It makes me want to throttle you with my bare hands.
I dont care what your excuse is: "A cult abused me" Yeah, me too. "Ive been filmed as a teen/child/infant for CP purposes" Yeah, same bud. "My parents isolated me from everyone growing up to abuse me" Yeah fucking Me Too. "Family members have molested me" Wow, we sound super similar. "My mom made me beat/molest an animal/person/object" YUP. ME. TOO. "Ive had exorcisms/rites/ceremonies performed upon me" WOW. Did we have the same abuser ring? /Half-gen
I DONT CARE WHAT YOU LIVED THROUGH, OR WHAT I LIVED THROUGH. YOU DONT TELL PEOPLE TO SUICIDE FOR ANY REASON, ESPECIALLY FOR BEING A SYSTEM, REGARDLESS OF HOW. YOU ALSO DONT FAKECLAIM THEM. YOU PIECE OF SHIT.
I can be a survivor of horrific abuse myself without being an absolutely shitty human being to anyone who isnt like me. Who could've thought of that??? /Sarcasm
If someone has a better method than blocking a fuck ton of tags, even ones that could include myself, I'd love to hear it. /Genuine

I feel like the only Gen Z in the world who actually lives for the flavor and texture and appearance of candy corn. Yes, straight, plain candy corn. Im scared that when I turn 40 it wont exist at all anymore. Fuck all of you who hate candy corn. One of the very few parts of my childhood that was positive has the chance of just .... Not being cared about or remembered by anyone but me. Ive always gotten shit for liking it, but Id rather get shit than have somebody not know what Im even talking about. Thats like .... Complete loss of relevancy as a human being and Im just not prepared to be that meaningless yet.

After the hospital bombing, I finally heard back from my grandmother and confirmed that several of my relatives were murdered by Israeli bombing. Seven of them, to be precise. Three are still going, including her. We've been talking constantly ever since.
Asked if it was possible to head south, and was told they did but were also bombed there. So they decided to go back home, in Zeitoun. Their home was bombed and they were pulled out of the rumble, then driven by ambulances to the al-Ahli Arab Hospital. There were people in every corner. Gazans sheltering, sleeping on the floor. Gazans dying on the floor, waiting for beds.
Four were declared dead on arrival, three were in need of surgery and other three were just bandaged. Then, a bomb was dropped in the parking lot that made parts of the ceiling collapse, like Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah reported in that horrific conference/interview. Those in need of surgery died.
By the way, just in case you didn't know: the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the third oldest in history, bombed by Israel a few days back, was located near the hospital.
When looking for new shelter, they saw schools with signs hanging outside, "We can't take any more families." They met families, sympathetic but already sheltering too many people. They're now staying in an apartment building they found empty. Sleeping in the corner of the living room. If the family comes back, they'll apologize and leave.
Told me she was saving her phone battery for when the bombing stopped, and she had to ask for help to rebuilt the neighborhood. But she doesn't think it's gonna stop anymore. The ones still with her are mute most of the time, like they're saving energy, but she feels lonely and wanted to talk. There's no internet and to connect to WhatsApp, people are buying "a card from the supermarket, there's a password and username." Not sure what she meant. Still, the internet is inconsistent and won't load neither videos or images nor pages, so she doesn't know what's happening on the outside world.
Told her there were a lot of people protesting to stop the genocide, she replied, "The bombings are getting worse by the day." The bombing yesterday was the worst she ever witnessed. The entire neighborhood is infested with the smell of death, of decomposing bodies. Bodies are piling up in the streets and she's not sure if it's because they ran out of places to store them, but most of them are in bags. The smoke of the bombings hide the blue sky—she hasn't seen the clouds for a while.
Asked if I could share their pictures, names and dreams with people and was told, of which I partly agree, "they're not entertainment." If anyone genuinely cared, they would be alive—I'd argue there are people who do care, but I'm not gonna lecture her pain. And they don't deserve to be used to fulfill someone's sick fantasy. Told me to remember what some Israelis do with pictures of dead Palestinians. And I do.
For those of you who are not familiar, many times before settlers got together to celebrate the murder of Palestinians. For one, in 2015, Israeli settlers set a house in Duma, West Bank on fire. An 18-month old baby, Ali Dawbsheh, was burnt alive. Both parents later died of wounds and only a 5-year-old, Ahmad, survived, although severely injured.
Two celebrations of their murder are widely known, one at a wedding and others outside the court in which two were indicted for the terrorist attack. In the wedding, guests stabbed a photo of the toddler, Ali, while others waved guns, knives and Molotov cocktails. Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was present.
That's what happens in an apartheid. Palestinians are so abused by authorities that their "innocent civilians" come to accept the brutality as necessary or are desensitized by our suffering. After all, it's been 75 years—get used to it!
So I won't risk the image of my loved ones, in fear they are used in these kinds of depravity. I will say, though, the world lost a young footballer. Lost a female writer and an aspiring ballerina. Lost a kind father, who was also a great cook, and a loving mother that enjoyed sewing and other types of handicraft art. Lost a math teacher and a child that wanted to become one.
Tumblr media
People think Israel is testing new weapons on them. There's civilians arriving at the hospital with severe burns, which they thought was from white phosphorus, but apparently the pattern is different from the one caused by white phosphorus. It's widely believed Israel tests weapons in Palestinians.
Jeff Halper, author of War Against the People, a book on Israel's arms and surveillance technology industries, said: "Israel has kept the occupation because it's a laboratory for weapons."
They've ran out of drinkable water and the "aid" Biden sent was only for the South of Gaza and no fuel, for hospitals, was allowed in. Many shelves in the supermarket are empty. She said many are convinced that if they don't die from the bombing, they'll die from starvation or dehydration, or whatever disease will develop from the dirty water they're drinking.
Told me all people do now is pray, cry and die. Told me she hopes West Bank is spared. Told her Israel bombed a mosque in West Bank and dozens of Palestinians in West Bank are being murdered by settlers, so she bided me goodbye.

Neurotypicals all need to be reminded that if you made fun of someone in school for being “weird,” you were making fun of autistic people and that’s ableist and wrong. If you don’t educate yourself and change, you’re a bad person.
Things I saw kids get made fun of for:
Walking on their toes
Communicating directly
Not making eye contact
Making too much eye contact
Having special interests
Not having the right interests
Having few friends
Trying to make friends
Being “too” happy
Feeling overwhelmed
Being shy
Not talking much
Talking too much
Having fun being silly
Being serious
Doing well in class (nerd)
Doing poorly in class (stupid)
Any noticeable stims
The way we eat
A lot of other shit
Yeah, those kids were neurodivergent and you were an asshole to them. Do you see all the contradictions in that list? You never actually had a problem with anything we did or didn’t do. You had a problem with our existence. The way we talked, walked, breathed, you bullied us for it.
What’s even more disgusting and insane:
Lots of these kids chose to spend their elective periods with the special ed kids class. Lots of them grew up to be teachers, SpEd teachers, psychologists, etc. not because they want to help autistic people, but because they want to feel superior.
A big fuck you to all of the bullies and jerks that treated us like shit simply for being different from you.
I hope you’ve changed, but I know you probably haven’t. You’re doing the same shit, all that’s changed is you’re getting paid for it now. Go to hell. (A very particular section of hell where you’re marginalized for your neurotype and forced into ABA therapy and treated exactly how you treated us).

People with physical disabilities have cripplepunk
People with mental illnesses have madpunk
People with neurodivergencies have neuropunk
All these people are disabled.
It isn't a bad thing to have a space that's not for you.
Trying to push into a space not designed for you is either going to make you feel alone in your experiences, or is going to mean that you talk over the people who need that space for themselves. It's not fair to anybody.
There's a space for all disabled people to talk about how our different disabilities impact us, and it's needed.
And it needs to be segregated like that (I know some people are going to latch onto that word, racial segregation is an entirely different thing, and I mean it here) because it's so important that we find community, especially online.
So many of us live isolated lives, in terms of other disabled people like us, if not actually physically isolated. We have the wider disabled community/disabled tags to talk about our lives as people who aren't abled in anyway, but we still need those specifically differentiated tags for the specifics.
And yeah, there's so much overlap,
but sometimes I want to talk to other people who know the hell of your intrusive thoughts teaming up with your magical thinking, what are cane users going to know about that?
And sometimes I want to talk to other people who know what it's like to go out in a wheelchair and have your whole day ruined by a step, how can you relate if you're able-bodied and can just walk in?
Sometimes I want to talk about how crappy doctors are, and our whole community can get in on that one.
You don't HAVE to be able to call yourself a cripple in order to be disabled.
But you DO have to be physically disabled to call yourself a cripple.
Some spaces are just not for you.

No More.
Hi everybody. We're the Something Wicked system, or just Wicked, and we have something we want to talk about. For a long time, we've tried to keep this blog as a neutral ground in terms of syscourse, and to a degree, we still want to. But a recent post on the subject of an account on Tumblr that harasses non-traumagenic systems has lit a fire under us and we can't go any longer being neutral on the subject.
We support ALL plurals.
Yep, you heard us right. Anyone who thought we were anti-endo is mistaken, and if you take issue with our stance, we won't hold it against you if you unfollow/block us. We were very anti-endo for a period of time, and then we were syscourse-neutral. No more. No more. No more blind hatred. No more following the crowd. No more tearing into people for what they choose to call their experiences. No more "neutrality" to avoid conflict.
No more silence at the expense of our fellow systems.
Honestly, the hatred spat from both sides of the argument is sickening. We've seen plural folks, both pro and anti endo, harass one another, send death and SA threats, dox each other -- and the worst part is that every one of them genuinely seems to believe that the opposing side is less than a person because of their opinions.
That isn't ok. Treating another person like they are dirt beneath your shoes because their experience differs from yours is fucking VILE. When did infighting and cruelty in the plural community become such a normalized behavior? When did so many systems forget how to be kind to others in their own community?
Traumagenic or non-traumagenic or anything in between, please hear us when we say this:
Be kind to one another.
We are begging you to remember how to treat others with compassion and patience. We know you have your disagreements, and we hear and respect that. But at the end of the day, everyone in the plural community is plural in some way, shape, or form, and the singlets who attack us and call us fake don't actually care whether or not we're traumatized. They hate us because we are plural. Those awful people on r/FDC and similar back-alleys of the internet will NEVER believe any system about their experiences, even if a system somehow fits every piece of their criteria to be a system "the right way".
Why? Because they don't want us to exist. They will keep making up "right ways" to be plural until there aren't any "real systems" left, because they don't want us here.
Open your eyes. We cannot afford to viciously attack each other over identity labels and spirituality and psychological phenomena when so many want us gone and will stop at nothing to erase and silence us.
This is why we have come to support all plurals. Hatred has only set us back in our healing and our ability to love and accept people as they are. Creating and strengthening bonds between each facet of the plural community is the only thing that will keep us from tearing ourselves apart, which - reminder - is what many singlet trolls want to see happen. It's not worth our energy to hate people who are just trying to live and be honest about their experiences.
If someone's plurality bringing them happiness is somehow taking away from your life, that's really not an issue with them. Maybe ask yourself why another person's joy and fulfilment in life has any negative effect on you, and why you feel the need to make them miserable.
On another note, the majority of non-traumagenics aren't spreading misinformation, because personal experience ≠ facts. That's not to say that there aren't members of the non-traumagenic plural community who spread misinformation, but we truly believe and have seen that most plural folks are being as honest about their experiences as they are comfortable with online, and again: personal truth ≠ truth.
If you are plural and don't have a (typical) traumagenic experience of your plurality: We see you. We hear you. We believe you. You are still plural, no matter what anyone tries to tell you. All of you are real. You have a place in this community and you will always be welcome on this blog.
And to all members of the plural community who don't fit the traumagenic label, we'd like to apologize for not standing up for you sooner. You are just as real and valid as any of us and we wish we hadn't been so blinded by hatred when first learning that we were a system. We should have protected our fellow plural siblings from the start.
With our opinions firmly out there, we'd like to remind everyone that we don't plan to make this into a syscourse blog, as that would be very bad for our mental health. This is a post stating our syscourse stance, and that's it. If you are rude in the notes, dm us, send threatening asks, namedrop us on a hate account, or do anything that we don't feel comfortable with because of this post, we will block you without hesitation.
Thank you for reading, if you have. Much love to every plural/system out there. And to those who don't like everything I've just said: I don't agree with your views, but we genuinely hope you take care of yourselves and have a good day!
Be kind, keep going, and show yourselves the love you deserve. ♥︎♥︎♥︎

okay, you know what? Running away shouldn’t be a crime. It shouldn’t be dangerous, either. Any kid should be able to leave their parents if they want, for any reason. No I’m not kidding.
“But Rue, where will these kids stay? Do you want them on the streets?”
of course not. In an ideal world, a kids would have multiple adults other than their parents they could look to for care, but I recognize that that will never be a reality for every single child. So: youth shelters, if they have nowhere else to go. There should be clean, warm shelters where anyone under 18 can stay for as long as they need, no questions asked. (And of course shelters that aren’t just for kids, but we’re talking about youth rights right now)
“But Rue,” I hear you say, “what if some moody teenager runs away after an argument?”
First of all, I’d rather a thousand moody teenagers run away than one abused child be trapped. Second, so what if one does? A kid needs time away from their parents, so they leave. The vast majority of them will get some time to cool down and then go back home, and if they don’t want to go back, period? Then nine times out of ten, they have a good reason. (Because yes, as hard as it is for you to believe, kids are humans who have common sense.)
“Okay, but what about the one time out of ten the kid doesn’t have a good reason?”
Then the kid doesn’t have a good reason. It doesn’t change anything. If someone wants to break up with their partner because of something stupid, you wouldn’t say they legally shouldn’t be able to. (And if you would, then you’re just a bad person.) No one should have to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise, that they don’t want to be in.
