Different anon here! Pro-ship as far as I've seen means that you have a live-and-let-live attitude about other people's fictional ships. People getting up in arms about it always pull out extreme examples, but generally as far as I can tell it just means you don't get mad at strangers for what fanfics they read, even if it groses you out. Usually the people asking that are kind of... extreme? Like clearly incest is bad, but that is a trap question people use to pounce on people online for having nuanced opinions.

good to know!! ty personally i wont interact with that sorta community, as usually they do glorify or romanticize such things theres a difference between not attacking people for stuff (which i tend to not do) and supporting the shipping of gross and illegal things (i personally dont mind art that reflects trauma, as long as it isnt romanticized)
